  • Check out the posthumous album called "Spiritual State", buy it, it worth it

  • New Jah Bless

  • nuh-jar-bez

  • new yaa bes !! :D

  • how do you pronounce "Nujabes"?

  • @flyingnimbus1000 new-juh-bass

  • @elcapitan369 new-juh-BESS

  • @flyingnimbus1000 new-jay-bees

  • @narcisoferma07 NU-jah-bess, not nu jah BESS. The emphasis is always on the first syllable in Japanese.

  • 7 idiots

  • asdjflaskdf it just sounds like everything that's good in this world

  • G status ^_^

  • Is Uyama on the sax? cuz that sax isn't in the original sample

  • CL Smooth with Nujabes???? SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!

  • THIS IS REAL HIP - HOP JACK!

  • Rest in Peace!!!!!

  • 999 likes? I make that a thousand :)

  • @LiquidTunez You sir, deserve a medal.

  • Arguing on nujabes...fucking worthless. e.e

  • Nujabes will live on because in people's memories one can live on forever.

  • Listen to the beats and just relax. Don't disrespect each other. We all came here to enjoy the beats. You don't like it or want it a certain way make your own remix.

  • first time i saw a youtube argument on a nujabes video...

  • im guessin the black guy is CL Smooth ^_^

  • @wolffangs987 Yep.

  • I always loved this jawn! CL Smooth killed it on this jawn! The late, great Nujabes (Rest In Peace and in Beats!)

  • One of my fav hip hop beat cl smooth+nujabes sky is falling for real

  • Game recognize Game! Old skol to new skol can only be fused with realness.

  • Don't know why people are complaining about the quality of the video, I can hear everything perfectly. Up you're sound system my friends.

  • Those who are complaining about the quality obviously don't know shit. The blend is perfect and I can hear CL's lyrics clearly. Maybe you people just need some new speakers, they obviously aren't powerful enough to perfectly amplify Nujabes' sound!

  • @jaxichatche lol. dude. if they can't hear the vocals properly, then they can't hear the vocals properly. it has nothing to do whether or not they 'know shit.' the only thing you accomplished with that comment was making yourself look like an asshole. in my case, I have relatively new, relatively powerful and potent speakers, and I'm having trouble hearing C.L.'s vocals. so back up.

  • @Dmarchant6923 if you complain about not being able to hear the vocals then either your speakers suck, your ears suck, or you just suck at listening to music, you are too set on one thing, therefore, you dont know shit. I can hear everything perfectly. Have a nice day and retune your ears to listen to Nujabes track properly. Don't reply back.

  • @jaxichatche that, or maybe, JUST MAYBE, the vocals are ACTUALLY at a lower volume than they should be. you know. just a possibility. i'm sure the people complaining that the volume is too low on this song don't complain about that to every song. so maybe it's not their ears that are messed up. maybe its the song. but, of course, you're gonna reply back with another self-asserted comment again stating why everyone else doesnt 'know shit.'

  • @Dmarchant6923 you don't get my point. you are complaining about the wrong thing buddy, the vocals might not be as clear YOU would want them to be, however you can still hear what he is saying without concentrating all your brain power into it. This is Nujabes bro just sit back, relax and listen to the track the way its supposed to be listened to and you wouldn't have a problem not being able to hearing the vocals in the first place. If you dont understand just don't worry.

  • @jaxichatche it's not a mental thing here haha i literally am having trouble listening to the lyrics. it has nothing to do whether i'm relaxed or not.

  • @Dmarchant6923 nope. nothings wrong with your hearin. i love the beat and im sure he's speakin greatness, but lets be honest the teasin of the beat gets more attention and you want to understand whats he's speakin on, but its pretty difficult... you got a right to your opinion bro as everyone else...

  • Song is fine. The intense beats really makes it sound good.

  • Would have been sooooooo much better if the vocals were louder than the instrumental because it feels like the vocals are drowning in the sound.

  • @Benyguldfot

That's kind of how I prefer it. I would be surprised if that weren't a very important detail for the producer.

  • @vincent21212 Yeah perhaps but the lyrics kind of drown in the sound which makes it uncomfortable for me at least. I prefer it when the instrumental is a tad lower than vocals :)

  • @Benyguldfot

not really possible....would be nice however.

  • @Benyguldfot The vocals are lower than the track cause in Japan people wanted to hear the beat more than they did the flow. Its still an amazing track

  • @Althepal242 Didn't know that, yes your right it's still an amazing track! :)

  • CL Smoooooooth,

  • beat is over the vocal so i cant hear shit

  • Yeah dude a few comments below me the sound quality is awful I was saying the same thing. Smh

  • No mp3 download?Dissapointment

  • @StMarciano go to vidtomp3.com i promise it wont give you viruses i use it all the time you can also download every video and make it an audio file to put on ipod zune or anyother mp3/mp4 deviceits really awesome

  • sky is falling, damnit, but no time to panic, rhymes are calling, sick of love, sick of the same, sick of wait, hate the stalling, keep my mind occupied with food, friends and rhymes, before i never learned my lesson, but i grew this time, never knew hip-hop before i heard this beat never knew love until i turned 18, i think back to old times, old rhymes i never wrote down, hope to hold mics at shows now, the showdown, hold my own against things i do fear, 2012, hoping for a good year

  • Don't worry Nujabes...even though this song wasn't mainstream and it was underground...I'ma make this song famous...just watch Hollywood people...the name says it all...

  • why are the levels so off? you can barely hear CL.

  • @colenbrak

I can hear him just fine with my headset and speakers..

  • @yodokodo compared to other songs

  • @ViolentAlcoholic Okay, so that means since eminem makes rap music I can go on each one of his videos saying "HEY GAIS I LOVE EMINEM, LETS HAVE OUR CHILDREN GROW INTO HIP-HOP BY LOOKING AT MY MUSIC".

Also no he didn't make music specifically for anime, I mean you can say he did but then again a lot of people like to assume things. To be honest Nujabes was a typical artist with extraordinary music. If he made music for anime exclusively he would've never released he own albums.

  • @ViolentAlcoholic he sells albums to... I just bought one from a fiend on vinyl

  • memories my friend....

  • EVERYBODY! Please, let the youth grow into the soul, real art poetry that this music is. Search my song Dray Fly - Feather (my own well made remix) or just click my name, and look around at some real songs, that are highly produced, real anime style of hip hop. PLEASE HELP THIS TYPE OF MUSIC SPREAD BY HELPING THE YOUTH GROW INTO THIS.

  • @BonkersTheBear get the fuck off of here trying to market your lame ass "anime" hip-hop(wtf) on a legends music you fucking scrub. Trying to use the excuse *let the youth grow into this* as a reason to market your lame ass music.

  • @amanworthy You havnt heard it have you.

  • @amanworthy lol nujabes makes music for anime

  • @broed731 keyword is exclusive, if you can't read something that obvious please kill yourself. Save the world the trouble of having to deal with more idiots.

  • @amanworthy lol no need to be so hostile dude

  • @broed731 Tired of people coming into something they have no business coming into to. Not only that but then speaking about something they no nothing about as if they're informed.

  • Damn this instrumental is something fierce. :>

  • One love to Nujabes, Guru, Big L, Dilla, Doc Doom, ODB, Jam Master Jay and many more.

  • rest in beats nujabes

  • nujabes isnt dead just press play

  • @EDDIE4RMELA word

  • @EDDIE4RMELA That's among one of the best comments I've read. Thank you.

  • @DaKineUpdate lol it's a good comment but I've seen that shit so many times. Would be cool if this guy is the one who started it but idk lol.

  • @0ladap0 Who cares, a good comment's a good comment. Nujabes becomes reanimated each time we press play. Truly awesome.

  • I can see Bruce Lee training to this. R.I.P. both of you.

  • Lovely beats !

  • rules: 1 shut the hell up about chuck norris no one gives a fuck. 2 enjoy the music.

  • @paradisland7 i do.......

  • dopeee

  • I will never forget you Jun Seba, you helped me through alot of hard times in my life, i would listen to your music and it would help me get out of the hardest situations in my life, when my cousin passed away in a car accident i listened to your music to comfort me its just crazy that you died in a car accident too... we will see each other again soon Peace Homie!!!!!

  • @moose2121 just ignore it. it'll eventually shrivel and die in its parents' basement, as all trolls/mentally-challenged preteens do.

  • @moose2121 once again, spell right.

  • @moose2121 spell right.

  • 6 people are just lying themselves

  • Does it always pause at 0:19 for anybody else?

  • I tried to edit that song but the program just wouldn't let me. It kept showing me this error : You can't improve perfection and altering it would be a sin big enough to send you to hell without even dying first.

  • so many religious people on these videos. I live life without a God or reassurance of an after life and I find beauty in nujabes music. Not through visions of heaven and God, but through the vibe he gives to my soul. I feel empowered, and lifted when I listen to this music. Nothing like it at all

  • @MacDaddy1224 True. You don't need God to see beauty. If you do, it's a shame that you are that empty inside.

  • @MacDaddy1224 who cares? everyone can enjoy it and thats what matters..i love this guys music and only discovered him a few weeks ago RIP Nujabes

  • @Anihilist Just expressing how I interpret this awesome music. Nothing more than that. If you felt attacked then I apologize. There is no need to accuse people like me of doing negative things on a peaceful video like this. Just enjoy the music

  • does anyone know if the intro is sampled and if so from where?

  • I heard theres a big show going on in heaven surprise guests Nujabes, Dilla, 2pac and Jesus might even get on the mic.

  • @quoe1 Biggie Smalls main act?

  • @RFVsk >biggie smalls.

lol'd. guru needs to be the main act. biggie can get a little cameo or something.

  • @quoe1 Don't forget the BIGs and Guru.

  • @quoe1 If jesus gets on the mic it will melt because jesus is the sun my friend not a physical being.

  • @quoe1 2pac DIED??

  • @MonkeysInMyHouse

    erm...yeah?

  • @MonkeysInMyHouse leave just leave

  • @quoe1 Don't forget Guru.

  • Nujabes is the Chuck Norris of music

  • @RyuDragus Wrong. Chuck Norris the Nujabes of fitness.

  • @IronAndSteelTilDeath actually your wrong. Bruce Lee is the Nujabes of fitness. Im not trying to start a arguement so please don't reply back angry. just listen to the calm beat of Nujabes and the cool lyrics of C.L. Smooth.

  • Comment removed

  • @IronAndSteelTilDeath All wrong, Chuck Norris is the Bruce Lee is the Nujabes of fitness.

  • The trumpets, the TRUMPETSSS!!!!

  • I know this song for long and i started hearing this a week ago over and over again like i never heard it b4 today my mind made up: sky is falling must be one of the best musician songs i've ever heard

love it how it fits so well

I imagine how i lift up to heaven while i'm watching how the sun shines down on the clouds surrounded by an invisible surround sound system bumping this track

  • i listen to this everyday

  • @SweetSenorita7983

:) i must have listened to this today at least 20 times

  • Never forgotten...

  • Rest in Beats, Jun Seba

  • Rest In Power Jun Seba.

  • This song is incredible. Great beat, good vibe, awesome lyrics. 10/10.

  • 5 are deaf can not hear me lament life¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Beautiful music.

  • Added to favorites.

  • dope. i listen everday.

  • you are missed jun, truly my heart still is able to sing knowing that my friend is in heaven dropping science with the best of the em that are no longer with us...Nujabes, didnt die, he just became a permanent mark in the history of real hip hop...wether he is with us or not, he is still with us thankfully through his music. No one can take that away...ever.

  • i can't imagine why it's the hate comments that get the most thumbs up. speak greatly of this music, but why must you speak ill of another man's taste? is it a fact or subjective? nujabes is great. underground rap is great. but if you move the majority, you will get your name out there. souljaboy going big doesnt reflect upon mainstream equaling to shit. it reflects upon the masses that nod their head to it. dont hate souljaboy, hate the listeners. theres good music in mainstream. find it.

  • Rest in beats, Nujabes.

  • nomak completely rapeshits nujabes and CL smooth is a huge yawn.

  • @TheEpiph

I disagree, I think Nujabes is way more talented than Nomak and has a better sense of style

  • @gatheringleaves clearly you're not educated on the many aspects of hip hop and beat producing if you think that nujabes is more talented than nomak.

nomak's style covers a wide range whereas nujabes only focuses on jazz and bullshit.

  • @TheEpiph jazz and bullshit? Why can't just say they are both good? And didn't you know? Hip-hop evolved from jazz.

  • @BBoyPhreshershist because they aren't both good you failtrain. nomak's beats are much more intricate than nujabes shit.

and yes, i am fully aware that hip hop has jazz roots, but nujabes overuses the jazz gimmick in a lot of his beats while nomak's beats are always a different flavor of greatness.

  • @TheEpiph Well you're obviously trolling here so whatever, Im out

  • Comment removed

  • @TheEpiph I find it absolutely hilarious how you preach about people not being educated on the many aspects of hip hop, yet you clearly don't even understand the very basic point behind music, rap and ALL art. It's not a fucking contest.

Then again, you seem to think that only focusing on one thing is bad, so chances are you're not someone who understands such complicated concepts.

  • @SuperPekka uh, rap is a contest you stupid fuck. ever hear rap battles, rap diss songs? it's all about being the best, and while nujabes is a a good producer, nomak simply diminishes him as challenge.

you obviously don't know shit about rap if you think this shit isn't a contest.

  • @TheEpiph You're not very good at trolling, are you? You're trying too hard.

Rap is not a contest, it's a form of self-expression, like all art. Battles are just about having fun. They can be done competitively, sure, but just because something can be done competitively doesn't mean that it's what said something is all about. Then there's of course pop-rap like Wayne, who are all about simple songs for simple people.

Diss songs are usually childish as fuck, so I'm not even going to go there.

  • @SuperPekka You're not very good at thinking, are you? You fail to see that I'm not trolling.

and you're wrong. rap is a contest. rappers themselves even state this. if you STILL think it isn't a contest, you're dumb as fuck. and wayne is actually good. i can already tell you're one of those dumbfucks who think complex song structure and rapping about political problems = perfect rapping. lil wayne's songs might be simple, but they're easy to listen too.

  • @TheEpiph Then you're just an idiot.

Yes, Wayne's songs are simple and easy to listen to. You know why? Because it's pop music, made for the average idiot who doesn't like to work their brain. Lil' Wayne, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys.. They are all the same, even if they sound a bit different.

On the other side of the fence we've got artists like Jack Johnson, Yann Tiersen, Agnes Obel, Heiruspecs, Nujabes, Sadistik..., who do art. Art is self-expression, and nothing else.

  • @SuperPekka you're the real idiot for actually thinking simple music = dumb listeners. you young kids like to listen to all this new complex shit that is too overthought. back in my day, we had nice simple music that sounded good. that's it. for the new generation, good-sounding music = political issues, death, violence, etc etc. we didn't have that shit in my day.

  • @TheEpiph 14 year old's are not allowed to say 'back in my day'. Good sounding music has always been the same. Lyrical topics have little to do with how something sounds, Nujabes has produced a ton of songs that are just about love.

More often than not, however, shallow music (Wiz Kalifa and Rick Ross) also sounds shallow. Rap is supposed to be part poetry, and there's no poetry in Wiz Kalifa.

I still maintain that you're just a shit tier troll. 1/10 for getting me to reply, now go away.

  • @TheEpiph You need more education kid. Complex "shit" works your brain muscle!

  • @Montalox that has to be the stupidest thing i've EVER heard.

  • @TheEpiph You are too stupid to comprehend my comment. Ever. Go get more education.

  • @Montalox you're not making any sense

  • @TheEpiph I am but u just couldnt grasp what i've just commented and i wont answer any questions coming from a stupid boy like you.

  • @Montalox type right

  • @TheEpiph I think you meant yourselves?

  • @TheEpiph Oh btw, you cant even hear through this comment. You can only read. So that makes you stupid times infinity!

  • @Montalox ...are you a nujabes fan. answer me.

  • @TheEpiph LOL... "back in my day"? It seems that I've just witnessed yet another bored middle-school keyboard warrior fag who spends too much time on YouTube. We're trying to enjoy our music. Go cry somewhere else, fuckhead.

  • @stupidguy97 you're 14.

    /thread

  • @TheEpiph i know. amazing, isn't it?

    /thread

  • @stupidguy97 i'm 21. run.

  • @TheEpiph oh no... a 21 year-old lil' wayne fan arguing with a 14 year-old on a YouTube music vid. funny.

  • @stupidguy97 boy you sure are smart, kid.

  • @TheEpiph oh, i see what you did there... you used basic sarcasm! [applauds]

you're so witty and clever for your age.

  • @TheEpiph And yes, you got schooled kid. Take a seat.

  • @SuperPekka enjoy your shit taste in rap you faggot. i'm off to listen to some wiz khalifa and rick ross.

  • @TheEpiph It's pretty obvious that you're not being entirely serious, hell you pretty much made the point everyone else is trying to make. Lil Wayne's music is easy to listen to, not very intelligent, and produced for mass consumption, however not everybody enjoys music that is chewed up and feed to us, I personally prefer having to digest the music myself, easy listening doesn't always make for the most intriguing

  • @random407I gotta' say, very well put sir.

  • @TheEpiph Wow you really don't know what you're talking about. The Best rap is just artists in it for making good music. I usually don't bash opinions but it's not that hard to talk into a mic and click autotune, as Lil Wayne does. If you say he is better than nujabes just get off this video and go back to listening to your crap.

  • @TheEpiph hows about you go fuck yourself mkay?

  • @datgamerboy how about you gain some better taste and listen to REAL hip hop you fagroid.

CL smooth sucks, and this beat isn't anything special.

  • @TheEpiph REAL HIP-HOP? ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME? this is about as real as it gets. Whats real hip-hop to you? Soulja boy? Wayne? You must be the worst kind of person to talk shit on a Nujabes video. Nomak is no better than Nujabes nor is he any less good. in fact they are pretty much the same. and if you dont like Nujabes why would you look up a vid and comment on it?

  • @datgamerboy that dude be trolling.

  • relaaaaax songs

  • he will ever be the best S2

  • why is everyone saying RIP?

a true legend never dies !

  • rip

  • my favorite.

  • its one thing to like a song for the sounds, the beats, the rhythm.

but when the song makes you feel real emotions. its a true art of nature! and Nujabes' music does this quite often.
