@KawaiiKemonomimi - That is a tough question and cannot be answered in a YouTube reply. Basically, things before 1922 are public domain, SOME things between 1923 and 1978 have expired, after 1978 copyrights last it is the creator's life span plus 70 years. It is also how much you use, and in what context. Watch the video carefully, then Google and Wikipedia copyrights.
Yeah, wake up people. YOU control the laws in your country, not them, remember the movie "ants"? There are 100's of you for every one of them. Do something about it! Everyone needs to oppose the politicians who are now pushing the "PROTECT IP act of 2011" and Fast. Looking for a bucket list of politicians to dump?
@Dragonrider1227 I have to say though, as far as intimidating copyright goes, Disney is nothing compared to... VIACOM!!! Disney make take a movie still in theaters down, but I've yet to see them call all out war on Youtube the way Viacom does
@ThirdChoiceVideos - I have tested numerous things on YouTube to see how far they would let me go, and VIACOM asre the frickin Naziest of the Nazis, and they are taken down very, very quickly 100% of the time. May they rot in hell the greedy bastards watching their material stolen and pirated for eternity.
Okay. This is just freakin' annoying.

Ok, so is or is it not OK to use stuff that is 14-years-old?

@ThirdChoiceVideos Thank you for the useful info. I'll look to see if an 'expired copyright music' will turn up anything in a search.

I love it. "This is the sound of your freedom, fluttering out of the window." (at 2:43) Brilliantly said.

@tooosweeet There's unfortunately also 100s of police for every one of them and their under their control. So rising up is out of the question.

@Dragonrider1227 - I agree, VIACOM is the worst in the galaxy by far.

@ThirdChoiceVideos Totally. I've seen Disney take things down from Youtube but they're not nearly as wildly vicious about it.
