wow, i need to get myself one of these consols, i remember a while before it came out, i saw it on tv, think it was on Gadgets Gadgets Gadgets, a gadget program lol, they made it looks soo awesome, and i remember thinkin to myself that i must get one.. sadly, i cant :(. but theres always Ebay :D!

is it true that if you get a new giz or the update for the old giz, you can't use homebrew or boot to windows ce?

as far as im aware anything from the current gizmondo should work with the new one

athough really depends on the gui

im unsure how they will use the new gui

in means of how its installed and stuff

on the current gizmondo we just shut down the shell which shows the wince os underneath

it should be possible to do the same on the new gui

hey what i need to do if i want to retain the scheme apperance? because every time i boot to wince i need to apply my saved theme

you need a homebrew app called lock&load

it bacicaly lets wince keep any changes made

you need to add it into flash disk folder

and add the registry value to make it load

if you ask on the forum i can explain more

but you need lock&load made by sweetlimire :)

good. i have win ce on my giz too. but i think my CE is the older wersion, so could you tell me where can i get this XP simillar version and where to download the keyboard for gizmondo?

the gizmondo runs wince 4.2

all i have done here is added some colour ro the task bar and added a bliss background

along side some reg-hacks to make it more xp like

you can do most of this from the

startmenu/control panel or right click and hold you will get a drop down box appear

go to propertys and select you background image

and customise the window and taskbar colour

Is the Internet Explorer for WinCE have Java and  Flash?

the ie explorer dosent support it right away

you have to install some homebrew apps to support flash ect

but it can be done on the gizmondo

as we have apps to do just that and more

this is what runs in the background of the gizmondo

because windows ce is costom and shells are made for the divice its ran on the gizmondo one for example here is bacicaly shut down in system loader

a small registry hack made by the clever guys at the gizmondo forums prevents the gizmondo shell loading

instead just the main frame loads a bacic wince os

is what you get

along with other hacks it is now fully functional :)
