you know, you should change "gotoAndPlay" into "gotoAndStop" so you don't need to put the "stop();" code on each frame.

if I didn't have those codes, I couldn't even move the gun or cursor.

but i'll explain it because you can't even read flash's comment.

onClipEvent(enterFrame)= this is what happens when it enters the frame.'derr'

mouse hide= that's obvious, it hides your mouse, so you can use the cursor properly.

x and y mouse= makes it FOLLOW your mouse.

BtW, you have to have Capitals in places like

onClipEvent.

if it was onclipevent, it wouldn't work.

@5iscool100 err...you may have put code in the wrong place, say if it is supposed to be on the movieclip you put it on the frame. Your best chance is to check the error, thats why it is there, to help you, or if you still don't know, post the full error, and ill tell you whats wrong.

would you please post a tutorial teaching how to make a word search flash game? the player would just need to highlight the word (using a mouse/touchpad) and the game would scratch the word off a list of words (no need to make letters disapear and blocks fall like in miniclip's letter lasso)
