We're in a war against a real threat that not only threatens the US, but Europe and many other nations. You don't like it, then shut the fuck. We have many brave men and women from the US and other nations fighting and dying for something they believe in and we have people like you who sit on their fat ass and whine about everything.

Hold our previous presidents and congressional leaders responsible...or the generals in the pentagon...not the E-4 pulling down a whopping $22K.year with a 2 year life expectancy.
An E-4 most likely signed up for the military after we entered these wars. They knew full well what they were getting into. They made a moral decision that goes against my own. I am not sending them packages for making that decision. They are not innocent victims. They knew what they were doing.
The only people that I feel sorry for are the pre-9/11 people, but by now, those people have had the opportunity to leave the military or get reassigned to a position where deployment is unlikely.

This is what's wrong when people start feeling entitled to something. The US doesn't owe you anything, and the soldiers definitely don't owe you anything. In fact, you owe the soldiers who risk their lives and die to ensure that our nation is safe from attacks.
You may not agree with the war on terrorism in the middle east, but at least try to show a little respect for those who risk their lives for our country.

Doesn't the military already do this? Not only that, doesn't the military check the contents of everything before forwarding it on to the soldiers?
For example, if somebody wrote a soldier a letter, telling them of information they have been deliberately shielded from?
Interesting gesture, but I think that civvies should let the military conduct its own business. There's so many issues that we all must be unaware of here.
