IMO, Karina is the best female Pro dancer on this show. I always felt that her reason for not winning in the past was that she sometimes pushed her students past their abilities as she did with Ralph or she simply didn't have a student dancer that was up to the challenges and was able to execute the routines she put forth while on stage. This season she hit the jackpot with JR. JR was Karina's Hines Ward but unlike Hines and his built in audience, JR fought his way into the hearts of America.
@privategirl2 agree. Also, Karina is on a PROFESSIONAL level and competed at this level since she entered the show. She bases her choreographies on a standard which is beyond entertainment and definitely more on technique and musicality. The audience favors the younger pros and celebs because they are cutting edge and modern but you have to remember that they competed at most at the amateur level and had just turn pro. Karina is definitely on a league of her own.

J.R. did win! YAY! I knew he would. He had the military backing him and all of America. He stood for what we all want to believe in. He deserved to win...he was the best. He has the ability to train and become one of the professionals on this show. He is just amazing.

I think the instant jive has a lot to do with the pro choreography and Karina did an amazing Job right now they are in the lead imo then its Ricki and Derek
@sh00nmeister He is all of those things, my point was that the best dancer should win regardless of what else they bring to the party and I think that his two dances that night were head and shoulders above the rest.
I have watched this dance as well as their waltz so many times that I know each step by heart. Karina's waltz had such grace and was choreographed so very well, and, their jive was so full of attitude. I so look forward to Monday night!!
I think Karina deserves a lot of credit for her awesome routines. I compared her waltz choreography with Derek's, and it was a lot more varied and original. And her strategy for dancing the instant jive was the best of any of the professional dancer's. She also must be a great teacher. Even though JR has natural talent, she has been able to really push him and make him a real dancer.
It may interest you know that Karina is one of the most famous and sought-after dance coaches in the world, and has in fact trained many of the younger pros on DWTS.
@modernmonalisa2 I have to most definitely agree. Derek just out dances who ever he's with...Karina really worked to make sure JR was pretty much at her level. Simply amazing jive. Certainly one of the BEST couples in all seasons of DWTS...no doubt!
@oNegLeEk No offense taken. I think I was referring this Jive as well as the one he did in week two. There's lots of energy in his Jive and that's what makes it look good. His footwork is a bit sloppy though and the lack of bounce action gives him a slightly stiffer appearance.
Regardless, I think it still looks awesome because he looks like he's having an awesome time doing it and that's why I hope JR wins this season.
I love this guy so much and seeing him for the past two months, you don't really see the scars on his face anymore. I don't care what anyone says, he's an attractive man inside an out. Martinoff for the win!
@13themuse I don't know if she was rude, but I'm proud of JR standing up for all celebrities..When asked how please he was about his Instant Jive...He complimented them all considering 20mins. to prepare, they all did pretty good. He wasn't wanting for them to only look at him, but thanking the audience for being supportive to all the celebrities.
I really think it's time to get new judges, a new co-host, & new writers. They ran out of questions, comments/critiques & it has become boring.
@13themuse Okay, I somewhat agree, Brooke was rude to the point of her comment...As if the audience loved JR and Karina's dancing 'One Night Only'...They love their dancing every Monday Night. I said it before..They need to get new judges, new writers, new co-host because she's biased to Derek. I get tired of the same questions and they're not so smart questions, either. The judges critiques are the same and has gotten really boring and old.

forgot to say in my earlier post for a jive it was way to slow way slow i may be wrong but isnt the jive supposed to be kind quick and fast he was not fast at all well in parts he was but then he would slow no way this was 30 no way 9's yes but 10's really.

There is no way that was worth 30 points, the waltz definitely was not worth 30 points either. Maybe 28's but certainly not 30's for each dance. I think this was overscored. JR is a good dancer but I think they score a little bit more because of his story. In the waltz he was running aroiund in circles trying to keep up with her so that was definitely not a perfect score.....

What the fuck. He did NOT deserve TWO perfect scores. The judges were obviously told by the producers to give JR 10s and the rest of the dancers extremely low scores to save him from being sent home. Its pretty obvious he was almost eliminated last week due to his weak fan base and the producers of DWTS don't want to lose him until the semi-finals.

Friggin AMAZINGGGGG!!! he does the best with upbeat dances..sensational..in the words of bruno LOL!!!! ricki doesnt come A N Y W H E R E close to him because he can naturally dance and has great style and rythme. like everythime he is dancing, u can tell he is actually enjoying himself..and the way he gets the crowd worked up and enjoying it throughly with him??! wowwww!!! ricki is good and all, but please let JR win and NOT ricki lake!!

@Sweetie091000 I was just saying yesterday that he DANCES. It doesn't look like he's counting steps in his head, or that he's remembering where his feet go. He's feeling the music and having fun, and that's what dancing really should be. If he doesn't win this season I'll be super upset.

What the fuck. He did NOT deserve TWO perfect scores. The judges were obviously told by the producers to give JR 10s and the rest of the dancers extremely low scores to save him from being sent home. Its pretty obvious he was almost eliminated last week due to his weak fan base and the producers of DWTS don't want to lose him until the semi-finals.

I used all my votes on JR and Karina this week. They are my favorite couple. (If David and Kym hadn't been eliminated, I would have used my votes on them. JR is David's favorite, by the way, so he's definitely rooting for him to win.)
