The season premiere will be on Thursday, September 23rd, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Rumor has it that Lexie and Sloane will get back together, and that Yang and Avery (one of the last Mercy West residents left!) may hook up, but only temporarily! IMO, this was GA's best season finale EVER, and Chandra Wilson (Bailey) SHOULD have gotten an Emmy nomination, and the same for Sandra Oh (Yang)!! Shame on the TV academy for those oversights!!
This episode hasn't aired in my country but I found it online because I had to watch it. It made me cry so badly. There were some shocking scenes but mostly sad. I have to admit, I kind of wanted a main character to die because it would have made a big impact on season 7 but then again, I can't deal with anymore main characters leaving. This is the best season finale I have ever seen for any show. Seriously, I can watch this over and over again and still be completely shocked. I ♥ Greys Anatomy.

Both tragic and dramatic..Luckily Alex,Derek and Owen got better but Reed and Charles died......I loved the moment when Bailey went crazy went she found out the elevators were off!!!

To say I freaked out would be an understatement, I think I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. lol. I was watching it online so I paused it when it became too much or when my eyes got so clouded with tears I couldn't see anything. I knew Gary was was going after Derek, that was obvious but I didn't think he'd go after anyone else...then BANG..Reed is on the floor, then Alex..It was just Insane best shiz I've watched on tv since the season 5 finale
Charles death was sadder than George's somehow... I never liked him, but the scene with him Mary and Bailey was just heartbreaking and should be named one of the saddest scene in TV History...
This was the best season finale ever, but at the same time it was the saddest one!! When Charles died, I DIED with him. His death was so shocking because Bailey was so frustrated when they turned off the elevators, cuz she couldn't do anything more to help him. But with no doubt, Meredith's miscarriage ripped my heart out, cuz I knew how bad she wanted to have that baby
The season finale was amazing. I knew that Mr.Clark was going to be the shooter. I had a gut feeling that Owen and Derek would get shot. It was so intense and I can't wait to see what's in store for season 7!!!
I loved how the guy from west died, percy i think. i didnt like him but men i cried so much. I thought bailey was gonna kill someone for shutting down the elevators, he was gonna make it! and it was so sad that he loved reed, oh my.
i think lexie said "I love you" to alex 'cause she WAS trying to keep him holding on as they wait for help.....i know it in my heart...in the past few episode we saw her cried when mark was trying to move on and she felt awful when she found out about mark sleeping with reed...and now, all the sudden she loves alex?'....come on.....mark and lexie will be together...we'll see...

Best episode ever!! shonda did not disappoint!! i love how she killed off the mercy west surgoens but made it part of the plot although i was soo sad when bailey watched one of them die. I can't believe lost her baby, derek will be crushed, and she was so happy about it,,heartbreaking. Glad everyone was alright, although i have a feeling bailey will be very different next year, Calzona are having kids!! yay! Mark lost lexie :'( he really loved her, i can't wait till next season!

@Uaohio I know right! holy fuck I have never seen such a horrifiyingly real and intense episode of anything before, and I have watch a lot of shows, The OC, Prison Break, True Blood, 24, Dexter, Lost, The Riches, Breaking Bad, the list goes on and on and not one have ever had an episode that has even come close to this one, it was a terrifyingly good time.
Well..now that my heart rate and blood pressure is back to normal, all I have to say is ...That was INSANE! OMFG! That was one intense emotional roller-coaster of an episode. I was practically freaking out through the whole thing! They definitely outdid themselves with this one.
Everyone has been complaining about season six being crappy and going majorly down hill. I think this season finale makes up for all of it. Absolutely amazing, brilliant acting. Grey's always has the absolute best finales.

@softballa259 I think you might be looking at the same photoshoot i saw. That photoshoot was for season 6, not season 7. Ellen was pregnant before and this is when Katherine was still there as we all know she survived the season 5 finale.

Ok, here is my take. If any of you can remember back to the very first episode of this season, Meredith had a dream where she was knocking on the door screaming and yelling and you see Derek on the bed as the doctors try to save him. Its all coming around full circle. Those first 2 or 3 mins of the first episode will play out at then end of this one.
@oct8 Although that is a very good way to look at it, that happens at the start of season 5 not season 6. The start of this season started with George dying and Izzie surviving. So i doubt they'd go back that far and bring up the dream again.
IF Derek or Bailey gets shot, I don't think they will die.. I mean, those characters are just too important for the show.. Grey's Anatomy without Derek is not Grey's Anatomy and the same goes for Bailey, Meredith and Christina.Damn, I'm already nervous for this finale episode... ^^

I loved how the guy from west died, percy i think. i didnt like him but men i cried so much. I thought bailey was gonna kill someone for shutting down the elevators, he was gonna make it! and it was so sad that he loved reed, oh my.

i think lexie said "I love you" to alex 'cause she WAS trying to keep him holding on as they wait for help.....i know it in my heart...in the past few episode we saw her cried when mark was trying to move on and she felt awful when she found out about mark sleeping with reed...and now, all the sudden she loves alex?'....come on.....mark and lexie will be together...we'll see...

@Jendow i agree! alex belong with izzie !!ppl is not going to accept him with anyone else;and lexie belongs with mark;i think she said the ILY thing just to try to keep him holding on as they wait for help. i mean we saw break down for mark and the last episode she wasnt ok with the mark and reed situation....it just doenst make any sense she loves alex now!...i hope next season lexie and mark get back together!! it's the way ithas to be, like chuck and blair, damon and elena, ross and rachel!

so amazingly good! so much suspense! especially the scene where the shooter went into the room bailey was in o_O . i dont know about u all but i was at the edge of my couch the whole time lol

Best episode ever!! shonda did not disappoint!! i love how she killed off the mercy west surgoens but made it part of the plot although i was soo sad when bailey watched one of them die. I can't believe lost her baby, derek will be crushed, and she was so happy about it,,heartbreaking. Glad everyone was alright, although i have a feeling bailey will be very different next year, Calzona are having kids!! yay! Mark lost lexie :'( he really loved her, i can't wait till next season!

THIS EPISODE WAS THE BEST EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The night it aired i wasn't able to see it (due to the fact that i was graduating from high school) but of course i recorded it on my dvr. I even went partying till 6 in the morning and despite how sleepy and broke down i was i was still hooked within the first 3 mins. I love, love, love, LOVE Bailey. I think her scenes were awesome, esp. in the hallway when the elevator wouldn't work. Just amazing work by a talented actress!

@Uaohio I know right! holy fuck I have never seen such a horrifiyingly real and intense episode of anything before, and I have watch a lot of shows, The OC, Prison Break, True Blood, 24, Dexter, Lost, The Riches, Breaking Bad, the list goes on and on and not one have ever had an episode that has even come close to this one, it was a terrifyingly good time.

Well..now that my heart rate and blood pressure is back to normal, all I have to say is ...That was INSANE! OMFG! That was one intense emotional roller-coaster of an episode. I was practically freaking out through the whole thing! They definitely outdid themselves with this one.

Everyone has been complaining about season six being crappy and going majorly down hill. I think this season finale makes up for all of it. Absolutely amazing, brilliant acting. Grey's always has the absolute best finales.

With the first half being called "Sanctuary" which would be episode 23 and the second half called "Death and all his friends" being episode 24. The website has only put up a 40 minute show, saying episode 23. At the end Derek gets shot. Is that right or is it missing half of the finale?

@isntlifejuicy97 there will be at least 8 seasons, there was a video about how ellen pompeo (meredith) was saying she might quit grey's anatomy after her contract is over after season 8. BUT the interviewer was saying that no one wants her to quit so she was saying she might not.

...i mean, good episode and all, and really intense and i was into it the entire 2 hours, but the ending sucked. now theyre back to where they started. no one TOO important died. they couldve done better with the ending.

I have never seen an eppy of of greys anatomy and this was the first on I have watched. I WAS BLOWN AWAY. This had me on the edge of my bed. THE ACTING WAS PHENOMENAL! One of the best eppy I have seen on tv without a doubt!

And then, Bailey was SO upset when they turned the elevators off. God, I was weeping. And then he goes, "Am I going to die now?" and she says, "Yes Charles, you are going to die now." I died with him. :(

@softballa259 I think you might be looking at the same photoshoot i saw. That photoshoot was for season 6, not season 7. Ellen was pregnant before and this is when Katherine was still there as we all know she survived the season 5 finale.

Ok, here is my take. If any of you can remember back to the very first episode of this season, Meredith had a dream where she was knocking on the door screaming and yelling and you see Derek on the bed as the doctors try to save him. Its all coming around full circle. Those first 2 or 3 mins of the first episode will play out at then end of this one.

@oct8 Although that is a very good way to look at it, that happens at the start of season 5 not season 6. The start of this season started with George dying and Izzie surviving. So i doubt they'd go back that far and bring up the dream again.

IF Derek or Bailey gets shot, I don't think they will die.. I mean, those characters are just too important for the show.. Grey's Anatomy without Derek is not Grey's Anatomy and the same goes for Bailey, Meredith and Christina.Damn, I'm already nervous for this finale episode... ^^
