  • It looks beautiful.

  • Your lighting is superior to many, your choice of music excellent.

Keep it up, and soon you'll be among the elite.

  • Thanks, Scott. I don't know about rising to the elite, but I am working at it. :-)

  • very good picture quality. i am planning to buy a HV30. can u tell me step by step what you did to upload your video to youtube . looking at your video compared to others who are using the same videocam, yours has a lot better picture quality. i don't know much about video file formats and compression; i guess they affect how your video uploaded to youtube would come out. hope u can share how you did it. thanks. again, very good picture quality.

  • Thank you. I agree, the HV30 produces awesome video quality, and yes, file format and compression are important factors in determining how the video is displayed.

As for uploading, I followed the basic YouTube directions. The key is in how the video is exported from your editing software. Since I have no idea what software you will be using, it's difficult to address your question. I use Sony Vegas.

Sorry I couldn't answer your question more fully, but I'm still quite new at this myself.

  • Lighting is perfect. Focusing was nicely done too. Depth of field was well expressed. The first zoom out was extra-smooth. When you get a good panning head at the time that you cop a new tripod, it'll improve side to side movement a lot. But as this vid goes, things look really good overall thus far. The music fit nicely as well. The video and sound quality on this submission is exceptional. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

  • Thank you, Mo! You are so kind, my friend. I always appreciate your candid critiques.

Yes, I do need a better tripod. Much better. I had no idea how bad mine was until I started shooting vids. I also need to get to know my cam better and learn how to focus manually.

This was all done in Auto mode.

Hey, you know me, the Auto Kid!
