the Dude that acted as Sammi was Tony Fields RIP . He was a great gymnist and in incredible shape until his slow demise . In my opinion this band could have been as big or bigger than AC/DC . Every song is great . You will be missed Fastway !

I for one loved this movie back when it originally came out but would welcome it being redone to today's technical standards with modern day special effects. I'd pay to go see a restoration. I'm against messing up the classics but this is one that would benefit greatly. Long Live Sammy!

This movie was considered scary by many back in the 80s [being in the theatre]. Today, it looks very cheesy. I believe this guy was gay in real life [just watch his interviews]. However, they really should do a remake because the movie does have a good story, yet mediocre directing. In the 80s, some metal bands recorded hidden messages, but one had to play the record backwards to hear it. The forgotten & clever idea scared many people [in real life] and this movie took it to a whole new level.

Tony fields is an actor /dancer.he was in a chorus line, and was a solid gold dancer, and was a dancer in the "beat it video"...he was not a musician. he died in 1995 to Cancer and had A.I.D.S.

you obviously never listened to fastway other than from this movie...which is a shame, because this soundtrack is not the only good music they released....
