  • I love the fact that you debunk some of the brush myths to begin the video bud! I store my brushes just like you. If I have the plastic tube I use it. If not oh well. I still stand them up in a jar if Im not using it.

Ive never tried the drum motion to get water out as well as get a nice tip. Will have to try that for sure.

I did have one brush form a curl that I never could fix. It was a reaper brush I picked up when I first started painting. Not sure what ever happened to it.

  • @VividAdventures2010 that'ts right, how you store them doesn't really matter, as long as you take care the brush tip isn't touching anything

  • Good answer session bud, very informative!

  • Awesome! You answered that perfectly! This is the first time I've seen anyone actually answer all these questions. Exactly the information I've been needing. Thanks man!

  • @terrainoob good to see you're still here. I noticed your channel got pretty quiet, so I wasn't expecting a response from you :) Thank you!

  • thanks for the tips Corvus, just a quick question on buying brushes, noticed Zombie note cheep synthetic having brush trouble,, so the question is have you had any luck using the cheeper brush or would recommend holding out on buying them for the natural hair brush?

  • @vanhammer73 I never tried out synthetic brushes, so I'm afraid I can't really answer your question about that... I do have some experience with cheaper natural brushes, they're usually less quality and wear out a lot faster. Buy your brushes in an arts store, don't get fooled by cheap ones in gaming or modelling stores. All this I'm telling you from a painter's perspective: a gamer which drybrushes all his models might be ok with a cheaper brush of course! Currently I mostly use a W&N Series 7.

  • Nice informative video very handy thanks as for brush soap I can recommend the masters brush cleaner it works well and seems to be more readily available than the brand you are using. I only have problems with a curled tip when I use cheap synthetic brushes the more expensive brushes (in my experience) don't curl they just lose their point after a while.

  • Great vid bud. Very useful.

  • thanks mate
