and if RBS didn't, lloyds would, if not them, HSBC, barclays...if you want ethical banking, use the co op bank. they are growing hugely and are very ethical. it's pointless and stupid protesting at the bank when there are 100s of other places willing to do it.
Yet another arrogant, infuriating person putting their nose where it's not wanted, I deplore Friends of the Earth and would love them to be shut down somehow, shame it probs won't happen. I'd love a Friends of the Earth or a Tree Hugger to come and ask me to start and use public transport rather than use my motorbike, hoo hoo, the response they would get from me would deafen them! Oh and the answer to the question, how do you sleep at night, simple, Horlicks :)
@Simon88ification Congrats, you're a petrol head who doesn't give a fuck about the planet. Good for you, now go be a cunt somewhere else, cheers pal. see ya.
There are technologies not being uses that would make the planet a utopia now. Freaks like bankers create fear and scarcity and block these inventions and buy they up.
Greetings from Alberta, Canada! Thanks for this - love it, and have shared with many others who support the cause (in fact I think we should round up a crew here to perform it at RBC/Royal Bank of Canada, who are the biggest financiers of the Tar Sands here!)... Good work ladies - rock on!
Ladies, you are absolutely fantastic. I live in central Texas and went to the state department hearing (which I might say was full of BS and paid union workers to support it)
Thanks for sharing. I like to see global protest to the pipeline. Nothing makes people come together like a common enemy right?
WOW.. BRAVO PEEPS.....September 26, 2011 - Canadian Greens took part in a global movement to make the shift away from fossil fuels as part of our effort to solve the climate crisis. Moving Planet, spearheaded by 350.org, is a worldwide rally, with thousands of events taking place in countries across the globe. More than 200 people risked arrest on Parliament Hill in the largest climate-related civil disobedience action in Canadian history .. Check - Ottawa Action (on you tube)
@FriendsofEarthScot thanks for sharing your lovely voices, choreography, with, chutzpah and great camera work-- i loved your song even before I got to hear "Price Tag" Altho our original "Leave the Tar Sands in the Ground" is so different (a serious anthem) we're proud to be fellow art-ivists singing out against this eco-nightmare financed by Greed Inc. LLC
BRILLIANT! Wish you could come to our (Canada's) actual Tar Sands in Alberta & hold a protest & sing this. LOTS of activists in Canada would support you!
@SaniyaCanada Have u heard of the song "shallow waters" as well? Its a beautiful song by a 10 yr old girl in vancouver singing bout oil and how damaging it is. She actually sang her song with Greenpeace members in the Tar Sands and I believe they got escorted out
Love you girls! Great song, and message.
Can't get it out of my head.
Thanks.

The good news, ladies, is that actions like yours work, and it looks like markets such as Europe and the Keystone XL pipeline are saying no.

Scruptious! How do you get that drilling action? Glad to see our green stuff trashing our common future in style.
