  • pleaasee somebody help me facial recognation fo attendance monitoring system

  • Your sad face is wrong. It involves a raise in the inner eyebrow. If your going to do this do your entire research

  • good trying! i thought to create a similar software as Android App.

  • This is exactly what I expected

  • First I was wtf? then i was wtf? Now I am wtf!!!

  • first I was surprised, than happy... now I'm sad!

  • ok we have seen that it recognises happy, neutral surprised and sad but what about angry or shy?

did the you just forgot to show it in the video or is it comming in a later version?

And sry if shy is not the right word i hope you understand what i mean

  • i want it

  • Done in open CV? Wondering one related application could be detecting lapse of consciousness of drivers (railroad and trucks) on long trips to avoid accidents.

  • looks fake

  • Impressive.

  • Woa ;3

    what programming language?

did you make use of opencv?

  • no fun... i want a chalenge...

  • How about acquiring the English language?

  • @youzaixiangba i know english already O.O

  • You might reconsider this comment after using a spellchecker.

  • @youzaixiangba I just didn't, spell one letter right. Got it?

  • @youzaixiangba I can't believe you said that when all that individual did was miss one letter. You rude son of a bitch lol

  • @ninashtia I just wanted to draw attention to another challenge: orthography, and apparently comma placement. No need to get upset.

  • @youzaixiangba No need to be an anal retentive virgo asshole. Tits, or gtfo. Wait, wait, woah, omg, ijist really wanted to say SUMTHIN; You, are a prick,,,,,,,,,,,, k? jk lol

  • is this opensource? is there any way I can use this script?

  • what is this, not even funny.

  • wheres PISSED?

  • Woow, very nice.

Must have obtained a decent amount of training data.

How come you didn't use Adaboost instead? Isn't that the classic application for facial recognition? using different wavelets for weak classifiers

  • Very nice

  • lie to me!

  • lol nice. ^^

  • salak amq ya

  • lol

  • where is angry? xD

  • VERY good.

  • Are the Gabor wavelets applied directly, or are they previously trained?

I've spent some weeks preparing to train my own Gabor cascades... but it's proving to be quite tricky!

There seems to be plenty of information in the public domain regarding the training of Haar-like features... but Gabor is more illusive!

  • is it the algothithm b47c ?

  • are you fucking stupid?

  • Of coz it's not for humans. These are machine understanding. That means these are the foundation for robot to perform facial recognition to look for criminals regardless they are at different facial expressions. Also, the point is to allow machines to understand human expressions.

  • hmm.. does chinees robots use the software like this ?

  • japanese, not chinese

  • amazing

  • Primarily for autism research.

  • @emotionalimaging Point? A software recongnizes human facial emotions could be used in so many ways!

  • @emotionalimaging I personally must disagree with MrTard, because not everyone has got the gift of being a natural. I've shown my friends photos of intense emotions like disgust, anger, fear, and they got about 5 out of 14.

  • I guess it could be nice for robots to recognize human feelings too.

  • @MrTard are you a natural, or do you think automating things for security reasons is good?

  • @MrTard You're the retard here!

  • @MrTard what a dumb-ass

  • @MrTard this will also work for the case of virtual agents (robotic or computer only) to interact with people.

  • lool cool! :D
