it is not illegal..you will not go to jail..but it does violate Apple's user terms of service, as well as dell's..so that means that neither company will troubleshoot or give you tech support for any of the products..
@MACbrownieBombshell i mite get a netbook lik this and i think its NOT illegal to install it "from the disk" (when u copy it to a hdd or a flash drive) even though a download IS illegal
u can get thes netbooks with windows xp or windows 7 for the extra 20 quid(if u live in the UK) i would recomend to get windows 7 its soo cool but if u get windows xp andwant to install ull have to get the sperate optical drive and the windows 7 disc witch will cost u about 100 quid
I ordered one today so I can take with me all around campus. My other laptop, Inspiron 1502, barely fits in my backpack so I leave it in my room. Then when I come back, my roommate or his friends are always on it. -__-
