I need help unlocking the doors. The dreamcast version seems to be harder than the gamecube one (which I got farther in). Every time I try to unlock the doors, rouge keeps saying she can't do it.

I personally think this level is challenging, and I kind of prefer Treasure hunting to Mech Shooting, because Tails/Robotnik like have only 1 weapon during the whole game (i think) and its easy to kill enemies.

This stage I played in a long time ago was my best when I played Rouge in Security Hall. I like to do the Drill Attack after getting the first emerald from way above and before I hit the ground, fly and see her face Point of View. This to me is my best, when you show off.

go up to the second floor, and you'll have to look for switches to activate them. The yellow switch is on top of the platform surrounded by a web of lasers, and the red switch is when you go up using the red handle thing turn to your left where you'll find fans blowing and lasers swifting back and forth

Just go to the top floor, climb up to the ABC floor panels before the laser obstacles, use your Treasure Scope, walk to the springy, and voila! You find the chao and get an A-rank.

This is my FAVORITE level for Rouge! For me, it's REALLY easy. I just get good luck here. I usually find them all in less than three minutes everytime. And the safes on mine always have the blinking 'G'. |:

You can save a lot of time if (In the DC version at least) you just spin and kick, causing rouge to do a spinning jump kick, next to the safe you want to open. It saves you a lot of time you may waste changing which level of safes are open. Otherwise, just get as high as you can and glide around until you detect an emerald.

I got an A rank after I did the same sort of planning like you did. There are routes. I didn't even pay attention really to coins...just picked up a couple here and there and I went mainly after the gems. I think my time was shorter than yours...but most likely by seconds. You have fantastic timing and you rock! Keep on keeping it old school with the SA:2 vids! ^_^

Remember the colour of the floor that safe is on. If you take the hook that leads to the upper area, there should be a button that will activate all the safes on that floor. By default only the safes on the Blue floor can be opened, you have to activate the switches for the other floors and only one floor at a time can be activated.

After playing the game awhile I've made a few "routes" when playing Emerald Hunt stages. I follow these routes as they usually give me a signal for the emeralds that I can go by, in Security Hall's case... I fly around from one side to the other in the lower section, flying near the 2nd floor, if I don't get a signal from this, I head up to the upper area and the emerald WILL be there. XD

...Sometimes it's also just luck. XD Like in my up-coming Death Chamber video.
