PS3 SIXAXIS controller, Xbox 360 controller, Perfboard with pre-drilled copper plated holes, Thin wires, x(4) T-1 sized LEDs, x(2) 4.7k ohm resistors and (1) 10k ohm resistor, Superglue, x(11) 6mm tact switches, x(2) 4.5mm tact switches, x(4) size 3 screws, 1/2-inch long, and a few tools!

the PS1/PS2/PS3 controller layout sucks, back when i was younger the layout was fine, my thumbs always come into contact with each other when using both thumb sticks. the 360 controller is a better overall layout unless you have the hands of a 5 year old, the only thing that sucks is the D-pad

The ps3's controller is a crappy remake of the ps2's/1's etc they copied theoriginal design plan for the triggers from the 360 and the have a crapper analog stick layout, also the xbox 360's analog sticks have a indention at the top for more comfortability. the xbox 360's controller is a more sleek, confortable-for-the-hands controller. and has a better light ring in the middle than the ps3's boring horizontal layout!

They didnt copy anything from the Xbox with the triggers. If they copied anyone it would be Dreamcast, they had triggers first. The original Xbox's controller was identical to Dreamcast's except for the second analog. Plus, ever notice how those stupid black and white buttons from the original Xbox mysteriously moved up to the top of the controller? They can call it left bumper and right bumper all they want, its a rip off of the L1 and R1 buttons from Sony.

Actually I think the PS design is perfect. Stretch your hands out on a table in front of you, palms up, then let them go limp. Now turn your hands inward and youve formed the basic PS controller design. Its so normal. I have relatively large hands and its still comfy.
