The team i used to beat palmers legendary 3 was togekiss, heatran and Salamence. Having a 'Modest' Natured togekiss with serene grace as an ability is awesome. Togekiss's move air slash has a chance to flinch so with the ability serene grace it tends to flinch alot more, not to mention it does awesome dmg. Luck is never a good thing to depend on in battle tower and is always something you want when you get streaks over 60. My single battle streak ended at 76 becozmy team got hit with alota crits

hmm. This battle relied too much on luck. Cuz What if Magma storm woulda hit? Lucario woulda been knocked out due to being trapped in a vortex.

Then Megahorn hitting 4 times in a row is not so unlikely, what if some of them missed? Would cresselia set up? and/or take out heracross?

Say iff heracross got taken out by cresselia. Wuld Empoleon have much a chance after cresselia has set up its spdef and spatk?

Personally chance is not and never will be my friend, which is why i dislike the team.

All it takes to defeat tower tycoon the second time is an old honest Garchomp. It needs to be Jolly and have eq, dragon claw, sd and outrage. Have him first in your team and use sd and then eq on heatran, outrage on cresselia and regigigas. It's almost too easy.

And, yeah. Right, if you are a serious gamer and needs to be unstopable you should get this team: Garchomp 255 attk, 255 speed, Jolly Eq, sd, outrage and dragon claw. Latios 255 sp.attk, 255 speed, Timid Item:Soul Dew (quite hard to get but it's totaly worth it) Draco meteor, calm mind, psychic and surf Gengar 288 sp.attk, 255 speed, Modest Item:Petaya berry Sludge bomb, shadow ball, T-bolt and sub. If you want to be a steamroler in Battle toweryou should consider to get this team.

Theese guy's got extreamly great chances to sweep your opponents team. Latios and garchomp are able to take damage during their calm mind or sd and they also got the speed to outspeed most of your opponents team.

OBS! Garchomp should either hold yache berry to resist ice attacks after his sd or a lum berry to avoid stat-changes that may destroy his chanses to sweep.

Find a team that can handle Palmers pokes with ease. With the right team, he's a pushover. With the wrong team, he's your toughest opponent.

Tyranitar would work decently against Palmer. Regigigas and Heatran both carry SE moves that can wear it down. But it can easily walk into Cresselia and set up a sweep.

Palmer's Cresselia actually let me win once, doing nothing but calm mind while my weavile set up 3 swords dances, after that she swept his whole team. I gave her brick break just for Heatran and Regigigas and the other trainers' steel pokemon along the way.

When i had my 2nd battle w/ palmer i used my 405 sp.atk porygon-z (i breed the ivs on) HE STARTED WITH CRESSELIA, i used dark pulse and it flinched plus 1/3 hp damage, the creselia flinches, i use it again and it flinches again!

I kill it then he sends out regigigas, i hyper beam it and it dies, he sends out heatran, heatran kills Porygon =(. i used garchomp and EQ to beat him! congrats on beating Palmer!

I'm not really a big expert when it comes tobattle tower stuff. From my experiences, using moves like Taunt and never-miss moves (Aura Sphere, etc) work really well against the hax-filled tower. Focus Sashes are fun too.

However, I'm guessing with your team.. you don't have much experience with EV training and IV breeding. Find some guides on how to do it and set up a team that way. That's the only way you're gonna get anywhere in the Battle Tower.

Yeah, Specs-Lucario is pretty good since it has pretty good Special Attack and a first priority move to play off it.

IMO, Specs-Lucario isn't as good in the Battle Tower since one of its selling points is awesome coverage. Locking yourself into one move when you can cover a lot of types can be a handicap in 3va3 battles, since the pace of those battles seems to go a lot faster.

I would know, I use a Scarf-Cross in my current team.
