  • Larry King has alwalys been put forward as an excellent interivewer ( maybe once?) but he is flamin' useless. His questions are disjointed and all over the place. No logical sequence in getting a picture of Dahmers' life. The only person who comes accross as articulate and insightfull is Cherrie.

  • larry king = non-human zombified reptile , cold blood heartless cyborg from andromeda galaxy

  • Not a great interview.

  • After watching this, not a great interview.

  • After watching this, not a great interview.

  • all serial killers parents are highly religious...sorry christians or good christians or whatever, but its a fact. ED geins psycho mother was disgustingly over the top religious. Ted bundys screwed up situation where his Mother pretended to be his aunt or sister or something. Gacy the whole lot of them have religious nut job parents. I believe all religious people are nutjobs, just for the simple fact they believe in a book that was written 2000 years ago and based around Isreal and Palestine

  • @nyran125 how can you believe in somethign that isnt even YOUR culture? You didnt come from Palestine or are you a descendant of the Arabs or are you a part of th MIddle east, so why the hell do you believe in a book that is written 2000 years ago in a place your ancestors havent even stepped foot on? That poaching other peoples beliefs. Jesus is NOT and has NOTHING to do with England or America or any Western civilization. Hes practically an ARAB.

  • @nyran125 how can you believe in something that isnt even part of YOUR culture? If you are from England or America or great britain or Australian or South American , Jesus has nothing to do with you, hes a friggin ARAB. YES, an ARAB,k? Why the hell do you believe in a guy that never even went to America or England but hung around Roman Provinces and the Middle East. No wonder your children go crazy.

  • I cannot imagine Jeff living in such environment, with his father who is loving and never gave up on him but considered his son's sexuality a sin. Jeff had to suppress his feelings and started drinking which wasn't healthy at all and things led to another, his parents leaving him, abandoning him. Of course, many ppl might faced such environments from their parents without them being murders later but they'd kill themselves . Poor Jeffery both society and his parents failed him.

  • Did Larry almost slip and say "Negro" instead of black? hmmmm....

  • i just finished watching all of the segments and not once did those two losers ever apologize to the families, society or anyone. i don't see how they can't take some kind of blame for that psycho, besides the seed came from the dad. now that should tell you something about dear o' daddy.

  • @mzqueenbee71 Watch the previous segment of this video. Lionel clearly describes how compassionately Shari consoled the families of the victims. Besides, why should the parents apologize when they didn't do anything wrong? Jeffrey himself took full responsibility. Duh.

  • @Nennachen so i'm guessing if one of my children wants to kill, mame and eat people then all i have to do is go and "apologize" to the victims families and all is well? another thing, if they take "responsibility" for their actions that too will make everything just go away. i'll remember that if one of my sons ever get into a fight at school and beat the crap out of somebody, while the other kid is bleeding from head to toe i will make sure they apologize and everything will be o.k.

  • @mzqueenbee71 Why should they apologise for what Jeff did? Dahmer himself said in an interview that the only person to blame for what happened is himself.

  • Take care of things at home and know whats going on with your kids lives and they won't turn out like Jeffery Dahmer.

  • Its obvious wtf was wrong. He was a closet homosexual his father should have seen this when he was a teenager having not dated girls. He was embarrassed of being a homosexual so when he had sex with one he would kill that person so his family would never know he was gay. Being gay is not normal nor is violent sex with women normal. Pornography causes alot of these people to fuel their addictions. His dad was not much of a father too busy with his career and not taking care of things at home

  • yes Larry, liquor is a good sign of a future serial killer.dumbass.

from molecules, to slime, to Larry

  • The dad never looks at his wife

  • Jeff's parents created him!! the dad is a sociopath too

  • King was awful in this interview. Watch the Stone Phillips interview with the Dahmer family, he actually knew what he was talking about.

  • the fucking devil says "rolex" at the beginning, i swear.

  • I liked Lionel Dahmer because he was so open about his and Jeffrey Dahmer's experiences. However, given his explanation and solution to his son's problems, he has not learned anything and thus has nothing to teach other parents.

  • Ugh. Christ.

Evolution made Jeffry Dahmer Kill. right.

    Fuck you Lionel Dahmer...

  • This is true..Christians forgive. God Bless Dahmer...

  • Jeffrey Dahmer may you be raped eternally in hell by woman after woman after WOMAN

  • @CapitalBhoy78 What?? Is being raped by a woman supposed to be worse than by a man?

  • @heidirh It is for a gay man ha

  • I'm sorry for these people and respect their courage in coming forward to try to help others. I agree with those of you who say that Larry King is a rude jerk for constantly interrupting them and changing the subject. He has atrocious manners and almost seems to have ADD.

  • @ROCKSLIDZ

I agree, but Larry King was reasonably bearable. Piers Morgan is worse and his just intolerable. I have not been able to watch more than 5 minutes of any interview he has conducted.

  • king is SO rude, interrupting. He's awful.

  • I can't believe his Jeff's dad didn't have asperger's on the mind.

  • shtunka dunka

  • Larry king said liquor should've been a sign, yet he didn't ask Lionel how can he not know that his son was an alcoholic at such an early age, and also why didn't he have an open communication with Jeff.

Lionel was not the good father the media is portraying him to be.

  • Lionel Dahmer doesn´t even know how old his son Jeff was when he died.

He was a very bad father for Jeff and responsible for his downfall too.

  • what the fuck? evolution into a creationist? lionel, you fucking moron. has anyone considered the elephant in the room... that lionel's ridiculous opinions on absolute truth, religion, and homosexuality, significantly contributed to Jeff's demise????

  • @secularmike - You're on the money there, mate.

  • @secularmike yes, yes. and yes. Isn't it funny how no one ever talks about that?

  • @secularmike God hating sycophants like you should just shoot themselves in the head. Get it over with!

  • @secularmike How do you figure? How did his 'truth' and 'religion' contribute to Jeff's circumstances? I can see how homosexuality did,.

  • @hijakd69 sigh.. homosexuals who live without judgement tend not to kill each other... but, if you manage to convince your son that gay-love is unnatural, morally wrong or evil, then see what happens when he grows up and happens to only feel attraction towards men

  • @VillageKidBand Well thats no true, there are plenty of homosexuals out there who have been told that its wrong and unatural and who haven't killed anyone. So its not what they are told that leads them to the point of murder, but its their choice of lifestyle. There is no evidence that Dahmer killed because he was fed up with his fathers opinion on homosexuality. thats just your assumption. He killed because certain things in his life down the track led him into that.

  • @hijakd69 obviously everyone is different. and he wasn't "fed up with" his father's view, he succumbed to it, that's the point. Jeff was obviously a passionate guy who struggled with something perfectly harmless and natural (being gay) that no one should need to struggle with. Does this struggle necessarily lead to sexual deviancy and murder? No. Is Jeff responsible for his actions? Yes. But did Lionel's stupidity contribute to Jeff's shame, despair and rage? Absolutely.

  • @VillageKidBand Jeffrey struggled with an urge for sexual sadism and homosexuality which led him to murder. He chose certain steps to 'try' and conceal his homosexuality from his family , by drinking and taking drugs, and making excuses for his behavior. But your idea that Jeffs dad caused this behavior because of his absolute belief is just plain stupidity, find a different excuse, His father obviously didn't bash his belief into him, he had a choice. Obviously it is unatural.

  • @hijakd69 sigh. FACTS: (i) belief formation is involuntary.. ie. not a choice. and (ii) homosexuality is perfectly natural. PROOFS: (i) try and voluntarily change a BELIEF and you will see that you can't do it. (ii) being gay is part of nature and amoral.. search wiki for "homosexuality in animals"

  • @VillageKidBand We all have a choice, we all have freedom, da same way you have freedom to be an atheist, a believer or an extremist, its choice.. Secondly, it is unnatural, whether it be by nature, which man and man cannot procreate, aswell as by God, which He created that Man and women be joined. And thirdly, I wouldn't compare myself or you as an animal, we as humans are not animals. But thats your choice if you want 2 believe dat

  • @hijakd69 you're not listening. beliefs are not voluntary. you can't choose what you believe, it happens automatically. and just because something doesn't result in babies, it doesn't make it unnatural. did you look at the article I suggested? NATURAL = OCCURS IN NATURE... if you think humans are not part of nature, then i'm afraid this conversation is over because you're living in a false reality that i can't rescue you from :(

  • @VillageKidBand yes you can choose what you believe, your born into a faith sometimes, but in the western world we can choose whether we want to be muslims, athiests or Christians. In other places you can choose aswell but you are met with physical harm. We are part of nature, but we are not animals and didn't come from animals, there is still no conclusive evidence to show evolution exists or ever did. still cant be proved. thats why its still a theory. My friend, im in no need of saving.

  • @hijakd69 ok, then choose to believe in something that you don't, even just for a minute. you will find that, even if you really concentrate or have good motivation to do so, that you can't actually change your BELIEF by using willpower. TRY IT.

  • @secularmike I thought nearly the same conclusion. I think his opinions and the way he handled jeffs homosexuality definetely worsened a few things. It could be this shame that made Jeff internalize so much.

  • @secularmike youre an idiot

  • Larry King annoys me with the fact that he interrupts everyone 2 minutes

  • Respond to this video... i know dude, 1:38

  • @jackhbradford I've thought that for years! He asks a question and then they answer and want to elaborate, then he cuts them off!!

  • Dahmer killed because he wanted Control, fear neglect, and was obsessed with violence.

    1. Control- Dahmer knew he couldn't control the world around him or people. He never liked killing, but felt that he couldn't control his lover unless they were dead.

    2. Neglect- The results of his parents divorce. His mother took the younger brother and left Dahmer alone with no food or money. He fear neglect

    3. Obsession with violence-dissecting animals and going to grave sights.

  • In 1988 I went to high school in Adelaide, South Australia with a German girl called Tina Dahms. I kid you not, she looked a heck of lot like Jeffrey Dahmer. They would definitely be related.

  • @avidalocan well if so what the hell happen to the er in DAHMER

  • @mrsthomashewitt A lot of very similar names (Dahms, Dahmer or Mudge, Mudgett) trace back to a single name only a few hundred years ago. A significant part of the time, strong or defining features among a certain family can be found in individuals from families with spelling variations of the name, generations later, so long as a large enough chunk of the DNA gets through to show the physical similarities centuries down the line.

  • @avidalocan well like Lionel said Dahmer is a very rare names. But they mite be related.

  • @mrsthomashewitt Perhaps a good way to look at it is the concept of momentum. Certain physical traits have endured in a group of related individuals for many centuries. If they were strong enough physical characteristics to survive all that time, it stands to reason that for at least another few centuries they would persist. Given that we have only recently emerged from a period (AD1000-1800) where spelling varieties of the same original surname were common, the resemblances still abound.

  • In 2004.

  • can anybody tell me what year this aired?
