Yes, he was the lead actor. The Blue Lagoon dates in 1980. Back then, Christopher was 17 - 18 years old and Brooke Shields was 14.

@z858978 - he's only 4 years older than Brooke Shields, he played her young love interests. She just has good genes or a lot more face lifts than Christopher.
