Your dentures look nice. I had all my teeth pulled when I was 24. For me, it was a cost issue. I needed 11 root canals at $1,000 per tooth. I couldn't afford that. I thought about getting partials, but decided I wanted it all over and done with. I went to Affordable Dentures and told them I wanted ALL my teeth pulled and full upper and lower dentures. They pulled 28 teeth the next day. I'm so glad I got dentures. I don't miss my teeth at all.

Honestly, those dentures don't look bad. Almost makes dentures look good. Must be amazing not having to worry about cleaning your teeth. I clean my teeth so excessively with still such poor results that just pulling them out really is almost getting to the point of better. My grandma lived to 90 with dentures since she was 30, so I think the scare stories about losing your teeth hurting your health are pretty much crap.

I think you're awesome! I am getting dentures soon and your videos have helped me. I have to say, yours look great. I couldn't even tell they were dentures. I hope the bottoms are fitting better. I am 55 years old and I wish I had taken better care of my teeth. But at least I will have the pretty smile I never had.
I work for a denture clinic and what most doctors dont tell you is that you should need denture creams and glues you should train your mouth to use the dentures through suction alone for the uppers lowers are a whole different thing you need to train you check and tounge muscles on how to keep it down
I had several cavities but the doctor fixed them. The reason why i have those cavities is because I wasn't going to the dentists for several years because of being in college. My dental insurance expired while i was in college. The flipper didn't do it but me not keeping appointments. I was told it was where i wasn't going for the cleanings. This year i got my cavities fixed before they fixed the flipper.
Do your gums close down on each other? Or does the muscle keep them from doing so? Because I heard that it's hard to eat without your dentures in because it's such an effort to even make your jaws close...
Wow, you are so young to have dentures. I have had a lot of dental work to keep my teeth going. Every year it seems I was getting filling, then replacing fillings, then crowns... My mom ended up with dentures when she was older. I know it can be a pain. I made a funny video and posted it on here acting as if I had to get my teeth in. Wow. 22. I can totally relate to your situation. I got uppers at the age of 18. I cant say its always been easy, even broke a tooth 3 times. Well, a different one every time but still. Its a lot more fragile than I originally thought. So now I'm always extra careful but its not always easy. In any case I'm sure you'll get used to em very fast. I wish you the best of luck.

Aka two screws drilled in my jaw. Killer. How long u have no teeth? Can u eat with them? I sure as hell cannot. That is y we did the implants. Will make my video later. @Cherrylips333 i'm getting implants in about 6 months, since my bone is receding very quickly. i can eat with them okay, thick burgers are a no-no, but most other stuff is easy to eat. my bottom one is starting to slip a lot though. :/ i lost them because of a lot of factors...diabetes, infections spreading, anemia, constant vomiting, calcium/potassium deficiency...all that added up :p
@nerdgirlism Thank you for having the courage to upload this vid. I have dental implants(lost my teeth due to meds) now, and they're the best. Ihave the bottom 1 now and I'm getting the top done in 2 weeks. The final alignment of the top denture is so close to to my actual mouth that I was able to eat ears of corn! It is so tight in my mouth that I have to use both hands to get them out.

I had several cavities but the doctor fixed them. The reason why i have those cavities is because I wasn't going to the dentists for several years because of being in college. My dental insurance expired while i was in college. The flipper didn't do it but me not keeping appointments. I was told it was where i wasn't going for the cleanings.
