Just wondered your impression of the car while owning it. I'm in the hunt for a B6 or B7 S4 Avant now. But I've been reading about examples of complete motor replacements under warranty at the ~60K miles mark (just two in the last day while searching for a car), and other similar tales. Thoughts?
@delvis11 This is the power measured at the wheels. The 340HP is measured at the crank (motor). There is power loss going through the drivetrain all the way down to the wheels.
I've since sold the Avant. The dyno was ran on 19" Maya STM wheels. I'm sure on 18's or 17's, it probably would've seen a litte bit better numbers. Oh and the air filters hadn't been cleaned properly either.

thats pants for a 4.2 v8 my r32 gtr with a boost controller apexi ecu and hks exhaust made 349.whp and 406 flywheel power on a hot day

its 340 at crank not 330 the dyno run is measured at wheels dumb shit
291.95 at wheeels equates to 376 at crank with 29% taken for transmission loss not bad for engine thats losing power

dude, awsome numbers. i did 290 on my b6 with just a cat-back and a cylinder 2 misfire. put i was on 93 octane. 291 whp on 91? impressive, hats off
