  • Respect for all your work man nice bike ;)

  • Nice video and very nice build. Looks like you took your time to do it right, which really is the best way to do it. I'm all KTM on dirt but my street bike is Kawasaki, they make a great product.

  • i did this to my kx125 this winter

  • Really sweet machine, I love my kx. Your video is what I had to go through with my tecate 3 and like seeing some else riding in shorts!

  • nice makes mine look even worse kawasaki 1991 kx 250

  • Great choice of music, I love dmb.

  • It's kind of weird and funny to say that your bike has a twin. I JUST bought that graphics kit for my 99 KX250. The only thing I don't have is the swingarm decals (I have the stock ones yet) and my spring is the stock purple. Nice looking bike..it's like looking in a mirror. Cheers bro!

  • @Randallpw is it retardedly fast? i and btw i replied to your comment

  • @thedude102878 Yes... it is. It's a beast, and it took me a while to learn to control it. I haven't taken it above third gear yet. More power than I know what to do with

  • @Randallpw HAHA

  • nice bike but you suck at riding wheelies haha

  • you can burn up this shit after that job :)))) hahahah

  • beautiful job man, that bike looks mint.

  • looked better befor jk :)

  • Hey do you still have this bike? im going a restore myself on my 1994 KX250. Did you get the spring and frame powder coated?

  • That green has to be an aquired taste, but nice bike anyway.

  • How did the spray on the shock hold up? Might do it to my 2006 RM85L

  • @Suzukidude222

Held up fine. Springs are flexed in torsion - i.e. the whole length of the rod that makes up the spring is deflecting angularly, giving the spring force. considering the length of a spring, the angle is really really small.

simply - the spring doesn't move a ton so paint holds up

  • @mlf27 what spray paint brand did you use

  • nice job on the resto mate... well done

  • good job man!

  • can i have your bike for free?thanks!!!

  • nice man when i restore i end up puting about $2,500 in it

  • 6 people wish they had this guys skills!!!

  • very nice bike man. whats your total investment into this bike? mann hours?

  • good realy good job

  • Nice restore, I am doing a restore on a KX 250 1999 myself, it is a great feeling.

Also when you do it yourself you know every inch of it.

A few more days I should be finishing my own 8-)

  • great job man looks great you srill ride it?

how much did you end up putting in it ,money ,that is

  • great job man looks great you srill ride it?

  • beautifull ....nice vid 8)

  • 2008 blew up!! jk ha

  • i just recently bought a 2003 kx250 for 500 bucks it also tore apart i bought a bike in a box but i seen treasure in it did i get a good deal i will soon put a vid up so you can see nice job on the bike by the way. i hope mine is half as good

  • Where did you get the paint for the frame?

  • I hate it when people say ''you could have bought a newer bike for the money you spent on it'' Every bike I bought needs money spending on it...I have just restored a 1998 KX250 and I have enjoyed every minute of it and I have learned lots about bike's and in future I will save money on repair bills now I have the experience to do it myself.

Great job with the bike mate.

  • spoking and truing are nightmares in school i would always get to the last spoke and it wouldn't fit and i'd have to take the entire wheel apart again. if you did it yourself nice job i'd have to send it out to someone.

  • best rebuild vid out there everything was done extremely proper

  • 2 Stroke all the way.. EPIC video! I bet you felt great when you first rode her! I get my first KX 250 in 3 days and I cannot wait! Ride safe, ride forever :)

  • i wish i had the money to do thattt!! =]

  • 5:42 lot of smoke

  • @TheCallofDutys

every minute of the film: 2-stroke.

  • @TheCallofDutys thats what a 2 stroke does when its cold

  • @thehondah8ters It always smokes because your burning oil!

  • @TheCallofDutys yeah two strokes do that haha especially if you ix em rich

  • hey what type of paint did you use when you painted the frame and swing are i have a 2001 kx 250 thats in dier need of some TLC

  • 3:01, exactly what the middle of my shed looks like. lol

  • beautiful bike, nice job

  • good job man i got a 98 kx 250 that iam working on slowly ware did you het ur plastics and grafics???????

  • im 5-5 and ive bin riding since i was five is this 2 big of a bike for me?

  • @SoobaaSteve

It had motor out of the frame, every bearing was bad, rear wheel was missing spokes, plastics cracked, forks leaking, etc etc

  • why fix it when it is broken

  • @SoobaaSteve Because its fun douchebag...

  • it looks lke it came off the show room, and yea u could have bought one for the amount you spent but after taking a piece of shit and turning into that you cant compare the feeling. i guess you gotta be a real motor head to understand. and crf150r's are for faggs

  • good job bro! its always nice to see someone put so much time and effort and come out with such a beautiful piece of equipment! :)

  • holy crap you made that look so nice great job

  • i have a 99 kx myself!!

    great bike

  • i ride four strokes but its nice to c someone bring an older 2 stroke back to life i hope they never die out

  • im a yamaha man, but i will give credit where it is due. you did a great job on this bike! its really looks great! have a great time on it 2STROKE FOREVER!

  • $1000?????? u cudda bought a 10x better bike than that for that amount mate

  • @XxCrf150RxX

Take a look at the year this was made...

  • @mlf27 oh right ok =]

  • Comment removed

  • @mlf27 well maybe some people cant offord pussy 4 strokes hell they cost a arm and a leg new keep that blue smoke a pouring out them pipes all fellow 2 strokers

  • @XxCrf150RxX How? 2 strokes are the best bikes made.

  • @XxCrf150RxX shut the fuck up kid its not about buying the nicest bike out on the market, this guy obviously wanted a project and made a sweet ass bike

  • @XxCrf150RxX he bought the bike in 2007 and it was a 1999 it was only eight years old it was worth a 1000$, sorry my bad english

  • @XxCrf150RxX yeah he could of but its people like this who keep the older 2 strokes going

  • Ive been looking for something like this for my summer project, but everyone wants too much.

  • Really Great work! Has Payed off, enjoy it man and treat it well haha!

  • BAD-ASS!!

  • fork gaurds do do shit when it comes to busting the fork seals, but it will be a real bitch when you smack the fork on a tree and dent it thats about a 250 doller fix thats y you custom make fork gaurds like i did i reenforced my 2003 rm125s fork gaurds with a small thin plat of aluminim now yeah it adds a few grams but im not a pro racer and you cant see them or feel them

  • wow this thing is bad i got a 98 kx 250 and im rebuilding the bottom end on it and putting new plastic on it.

  • music????

  • rebuild? its not that old! well it is a kawasaki!

  • check out my kx 250

  • fork guards man dont ride with out them you'll blow a fork seal and thats a real bitch to change

  • 5/5 Cool KX

  • why didnt you jsut painted the frame to silver metallic. thatd look like a recent year bike

  • really good work man :)

  • dude nice were did u find the gas tank i need one so bad every one is back ordered

  • Nice restoration. I am working on a 1985 CR 250 - complete rebuild. The swingarm bearings looked nearly the same as what is in your video. What the hell did the person you bought this from do with it to make it look as bad as a bike that is 14 years older?!!

  • Hell yeah beautifull, you sure know what ur doin man!

  • You must have to much time on your hands! brilliant job, looks like a new bike that has some sweat and blood behind it, good job :)

  • how long did it take you to do all that? My bike isn't really messed up I just want to paint the frame.

  • nice jobb my came out looking good but not that good lol yours is sweet

  • nice job man i hope my cames out looking that good.. did u get eny help?

  • is it possible to lower the height of the kx250? i just want it a few inches lower

  • you could get a lower seat foam and drop the forks in the triple claps a bit and maybe set the sag a little on the back shock, that would drop it a bit for you.

  • yeah front forks you loosen and let the tripple trees drop down a little, back you loosen the spring or buy a linkage kit thats a few inchs shorter that will drop ride height.

  • so what kind of clutch baskets do u have in it?

  • Shame on the guy who left it in the original state, you did an excellent job, attentioin to detail, and well done on the wheel rebuild!

  • I just picked up a 97' KX250. It's dusted and looks chewed up! I can't believe that frame color.!

  • not much of a resto but good

  • nice job, looks great

  • i dont think the garden was his.xD

  • Awesome Job 5 stars

  • best bike you'll ever have. they like it when you let them bounce.

  • nice nice nice job that bikes a dream. now can someone tell me what the first song in this video is it is just amazing

  • omg wowowowowowowow. very nice i have done similar work on bikes in the past. This rebuild is very impressive. i would rather have that bike than a brand new 2007 kx250. oh and this is very important what is the first song in this video i fell in love with it i have to know

  • well done man

    is 4 sale? :P

    5stars

  • Nice job must of taken a little while and a little bit of coin.

  • i have storted doing my kxf250 up i have dun a vieo

  • what kind of graphics kit you got on there please reply

  • Nice work dude. I did the same with a 1999 cr 125 as a school project. It was piece of junk. Tore it down to the frame, regreased it and all bearings, powdercoat, cleaning. Put a new top end in it. Took it to the dunes and blew it up. lol. Now its a 134, just needs powervalves.

  • Nice job on the bike i just got my 99 kx250 for 800 i got a great deal it just needed a back fender

  • know some one who dumped a 03 rm 125 like new for 800... made me sick

  • how nuch this cost you man looks like alot of work!

  • sau gut

  • sweet job man, im in the middle of redoin a 98 rmx 250 this vid made me just want to get down and work on it

  • hey nice job man bike looks great

  • how much did u end up putting into the restoration?

  • It was about $1000 - which includes two used but really nice radiators.

I also didn't need to rebuild the motor.
