My iPod overheats and flickers then dies when the battery is full and I've been using it for only 10 minutes or sometimes less. I've had ythe iPod for only a couple months. Maybe I'll just send it back, but I would rather keep it and then fix it if possible. Any help?

When this happened mine, I returned it to Apple and they sent my a brand new replacement that I never had any further problems with. I suggest you do the same or take it into an Apple store.

i love Apple to death, I own a Macbook and iPod Touch and stand by their products...but to an extent you are correct.
My screen flickers on both my Macbook and iPod and i'm sure some of the extent is due to me being a bit careless at times with the products, other brands would certainly hold up against a "on the go" lifestyle where I just throw all my items into my backpack.
Yeah the battery was quite low in the video but it does it when fully charged, even when running off the usb power.
I found that if you put a little pressure on the back and bottom right corner it kind of corrects itself for a while. Still even at this after paying well over £200 it should work.
Apple are shipping me out a box to send it back in. So far been very happy with Apple's return service. Hopefully won't take them too long to get it returned to me working.

I just dropped mine and it got a white bar at the bottom that flickers from time to time and sometimes the whole screen flickers. any suggestions?

i had this same problem and found out that turning off wifi and cleaning out the USB socket provented the problem. give it a try and see wat happens

ok hold the home button and the power off button at the same time. then is will shut off. Turn is back on and it should work!

your battery was low or if not try restore it or upgrading, if this dosnt help take it to an apple store.

Looks like it has to do with your backlight. Send it back to Apple, and they'll fix it.
