Before you make your self as a clown, (because your stupid question) You really should go at starship phoenix and go to armor vendor (the place where you buy armors) and buy the inferno armor (cost 1 million bolts) if it isn't there, beat game once or twice...

@HoggerTheHedgehog Ok, but usually people know where you can buy armors, I just can't understand that (some) people don't know where to buy those... It's kinda pathetic! (I have completed this game 100%, and didn't  have even troubles). And I do not mean to boast.

oh well. So, first clear story, and then hard mode? Is there something like a "Hard mode" button for that ? or if I automatically start the same story over again, it's hard mode?

Well first: If you have PS3 or you wan't to buy it, then do not buy Quest for bootie. It's 5 hours game. I recommend Tools of destruction, or Crack in time. When you beat R&C 3 once, then appears a screen where is lots of text, and game asks you do you wan't to start hard mode? Or retun back on time just before you beat final boss. Start hard mode, and then the enemies are more powerful. (You can keep your guns and updates) When you beat hard mode, you can also start it again. (long comment sry)

For example, Ratched found out that he wasn't the only Lombax alive. I haven't seen everything of R& ACIT yet, but it seemed that there were a lot of 'sad' scenes in it..or not? I mean, those game became more 'emotional' ? Having more feeling in the game than it'd be just a kids game..

Actually, the I liked the PS2 version of Ratchet just because I grew up with that, you know? The PS3 version looks... wrong.

@ForgefaneCreations Well, I suppose you are right. The PS3 Ratchet is a lot different than PS2. In Ratchet and Clank 1-3 you can see the original Ratchet. But in Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction, he looks so much younger, and more like... hairy? And in Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time, Ratchet's size have changed. He looks smaller. And I don't understand why. In my opnion, they should keep the old Ratchet's style trough the PS3 games as well.

@tommi2580 well since the original series was on the PS2,(not counting size matters)they could easily replicate ratchets design.but when they decided to do PS3 ratchet and clank games,well they had to deal with changed graphics all that,but i dont know about the a crack in time one.

@Cracko90 Yea, agreed. In R & C TOD, Ratchet is like same sized but very hairy :D And in R & C ACIT, Ratchet is much smaller looking. Indeed the graphics have affected on Ratchet's look, but I think too much.

Yeah, but I haven't yet. I'm not a hardcore R&C gamer. I am just about to finish R&C 3. I know where the armor vendor is, but I didn't see the inferno armor there yet, so I was just wondering.

For example, maybe it was unlockable if you did something in the past levels, or maybe I had to get something for it and had to go back.

While that sentence makes very little sense... Up Your Arsenal came out before Deadlocked anyways, so in the ratchet universe, the plot progresses so that the Deadlocked story comes after, thus not ruining the plot.

Actually I could have used a game without Quark. After awhile, he just gets annoyingly stupid. Deadlocked was really fun, but I agree, it didnt feel like Ratchet and Clank. Mabie a side-story that could have happened at any time.

I think that was supposed to be the point. It was a poke at how Britney Spears went from Disney whitebread Mouseketeer to decidedly not so innocent when she got successful.

One could also draw a parrellel between Courtney's mental breakdown into an advocate for organic genocide to Britney going off the deep end the past year. Although it clearly wasn't intended at the time the game was made though.
