1 comment and 1 question. Comment: I like the headlights, I noticed the red bead around the lens, did you customize those because I havent seen any with that feature, just colored and mirrored but without that extra touch. Question: Did you fabricate the cover or was that bought? Where could I get one?
its a metal cover, prolly aluminim, n it is possible to get the engine to shine like chrome the way he did. its the same (roughly the same anyways) way they do it if u take it to a shop to have ur rims polished or valve covers. dont be dissin on him cuz ur too stupid/lazy to do it urself great job by the way though
the cover is from injen and very expensive.. not only that it doesn't completely cover the valve cover which is why he didn't have to remove it cause the cover is usually a plain stock black plastic,,, not metal... so he had to purchase that part to match the look he wanted... just to show that you can do this yourself with some hard work.
Wow what a bunch of fucking tossers, you can clearly see that the part he polished is visible after the cover is fitted. Pay attention, the cover is over the shitty looking pipes and leads not the manifold ya cocks.
@GR3ML1N0 yea man, i have that valve cover too.it gives ur car a nice look.I was wondering where you got the hose kit tho.I was looking into switching out the hoses, the only place i can find is hose techniques, they say thats the only one that is worth buying.can i know where u got dem from? thanks man.btw i have the spark plug cover too,but where did u get da middle part of it?
well i just looked and my celica's engine has a cover all around it do you know if it would cause problems if i took the covers off and left them off?
lol too bad he doesnt know anything about colors and how they reflect and absorb heat. If he did he would have colored his engine black. Now the engine will become hotter and waste gas and HP
pointless there is an engine cover on it in the end of the video head was never polished if it was then they screwed it up and put a cover on it to make it look right
its a load of sh*t the end result shows a chrome engine cover which is a plated finish not a hand polished finish! rubbin the rocker cover down with some p1000 wet an dry isnt gonna b good enough for polishing! hence why u never see the rocker cover when its finished! But if i'm wrong we'll see another vid of it to prove me wrong!?
@beesting2008 If you look closer the cover is only between the valve cover and the intake runners that he polished, where the rubber separator and the wire looms are. And ther'es a separate one for over the spark plugs. Watch and look alot closer you can see the runners and the valve cover are deff. not covered so they R indeed polished.. I thought he was taking credit 4 what he didn't do too but u and the 5 thumbs up r wrong this time. And u can polish a decent finish after 1000 grit
His headers are already polished. When he was sanding the head it was pointless, because at the end of the video you can see a chrome head cover newly applied to the engine bay.
Okay go on google images and type in headers. I'll make this easy for you, they look like little snakes you still probably color in your animal kingdom coloring books. Now scroll to my msg and notice how I said they are already polished. Now go look up Engine Head on google. Which is what he's sanding, It's pointless. Now look on google for "Engine cover" - Oh what do you know, I know my Sh*t.
You know your ish huh? so how about explaining why there is a FUEL RAIL RIGHT ABOVE YOUR PROPOSED "HEADERS." I don't even know much of anything about the 2ZZ, but i do know that most engines don't spray fuel into the outgoing exhaust gases. Good try.
LOL, doesnt even know what a intake manifold is LOL. Yes it is that simple, but i probably go up to 2000grit. Stop hating stupid kids. it really is that easy.
lol. okay go on google and look up 2zz-ge. u will c that the intake manifold is what he is polishing. header is on the back. better do more research before running ur mouth about u appositely knowing ur shit.
Hey i was wondering if the celica 2zz intake manifold were smooth compared to the on my 2004 matix xrs? mines cast
