  • I was born and raised in Benton Harbor and all my family still lives there. For the past forty years the elected officials of that city have done what the newsreporter claims the state is doing - taking the power from the people. Secret meetings held, tens of millions of state dollars poured into the city and no one can find a trace of where the money went. Honest officials that wanted to change things pushed out by those elected officials who ripped off the citizens and the state.

  • Republicans are no longer to be considered Americans. They are an occupying, illegitimate foreign power, opposing the national will, opposing worker rights, opposing environmental logic and sustainability, opposing almost every value achieved by humanity. If you know a Republican, stop cooperating with him or her. Stop including them in activities. Stop responding to them as rational actors. Boycott Republicans. Exclude Republicans from all social phenomena. Ostracize all Republicans.

  • @beesleeper Do you even live in Michigan? For the past eight years my state has wasted money. Detroit is in ruins and places like Benton Harbor need to fix what they have done. Unless you live in Michigan then you need to sit down and shut up.

  • @Epica124

Does anyone actually obey your asshole commands in real life? So you just go around telling people to shut up on Youtube, like a pathetic piece of shit ?

You're not even an American, so who gives a fuck what yo usay, cunt.

  • It's a little Orwellian to say a civic project that had been vetted through public officials is responsible for the elimination of representation by that community's public officials (which isn't to say, but not likely, that that community elected their current governor who *is* responsible). Rachel, sadly, has turned to the Dark Side...

  • So we solve the financial issue by becoming dictatorial and suspending democracy?

  • @Silvergordikuki That's what America voted for, yup. I say, if Americans would rather watch new episodes of Family Guy and Jersey Shore than pay attention to their own political system, then they should reap the rewards of their apathy and be happy about it.

This is what we all get for America's sleepiness.

  • There's a simple solution ignore the law and if the state government doesn't like it they can take it to court.

If I was that town's local government I'd just ignore the law call in the local TV crews to the council meeting see if the police break up the meeting, let that play on the news.

  • @BrightonContrarian10
