  • I would replace the exhaust manifolds with headers, run 2 pipes into 2 cats and into 2 super 44s and have duals out the back

  • Yeah it's nice to hear the same sound on all 3 clips! Lol get some super 10's and cut that pipe off! Then you'll get a monstrous sound!

  • Great video and audio It is nice to hear all three in the same video.

  • sounds the exact same

  • just got a super 44 for my caddilac and i fucking love it

  • YOU GUYS JUST HAVE TO WAIT TILL IT GETS CRACKED IN,GIVE IT ABOUT A WEEK U WILL SE AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE,TRUST ME!

  • @leo12345641 Completely agreed with this. This was filmed the night I got it installed..it sounded absolutely phenomenal about a month after and kept sounding better and better. By the time I got rid of the truck, it was quite loud. It is a great muffler.

  • SORRY TO SAY BUT THIS EXPEDITION SOUNDS HORRIBLE,MAYBE BECAUSE IT DOESNT HAVE AS MUCH POWER AS MY 1999 CHEVY TAHOE 4X4, I HAVE THAT SAME SUPER 44 AND IT MAKES ALL CAR ALARMS GO OFF WEN I RIDE IT DOWN THE STREET. NICE TRUCK THO.

  • @leo12345641 The difference is that your Tahoe does not have the ridiculous amount of Catalytic Converters that my Expedition had and it probably didn't have the resonator, so the Super 44 on your Tahoe probably sounds a lot louder and more aggressive.

  • i just put one single in/single out flowmaster 40 and its fucking quiet man........its because i have only one? ...im going back to go dual but im waiting till i order some hi-flow cats...do i order 2 hi flow cats or just one......IM A NOOB AT THIS

  • @shinnaraku2 Sorry, but I do not know enough about the mufflers to weigh in on this. If you have the same year and model truck that I had, it is definitely going to be quiet because this year / model had an excessive amount of Cats to keep emissions legal and it also made it much quieter.

  • great looking expediton. I have a 40 series and mine and it sounds way different, it has the flowmaster rumble too, this just sounds like stock but louder. Do you have a resonator or something.

  • @06TurboVtec Thanks! It seemed that the muffler sounded better with time..by the time I got rid of this truck, it sounded a lot better. But yeah, this year expedition had a resonator and 4 cats which greatly dampened the sound. What year is yours?

  • @a7xbass94 I got a 97, great truck

  • THIS SUPER 44 MUFFLER IS FOR SALE - Contact me for details.

  • How much louder is the 50 series than stock?

  • @Fordfanforlife777 I noticed VERY little difference and was quite unhappy. That being said, this model year Expedition has a ridiculous amount of catalytic converters that dampen the sound, so unless you are putting the 50 series on an Expedition, it supposedly sounds excellent. I am extremely happy with the Super 44 on my truck though

  • @a7xbass94 Thank you, very helpful. Mine's going on a 79 f150. I have manifolds and pipe with a muffler in the middle. No emissions bull S***. Maby you should get an older Expedition????

  • @Fordfanforlife777 Haha I am more than content with my Expedition. I think that since you have an older truck, the Super 50 should be excellent for you..great outside sound with lower interior resonance..the Super 44s were described as very aggressive tone and loud interior resonance..the Super 50, moderate exterior, mild interior. I think you will be happy with the 50

  • I just put super 44's on my 1965 Mustang Fastback, check out the difference in my channel.

  • scrap resinator

  • im guessing ull be knowledgable on this, so, heres my question. so my expedition is a 2001 eddie buaer with a 5.4l triton v8. i see the catylitic converter, and the muffler, but theres also a smaller, muffler-ish can at the very end of the tail pipe, about a foot before the actual end of the pipe. u can see it in your video, with the first 2 exhaust systems. i was wondering if u knew what that was.

  • @qwertas1243 Yessir. It is called a resonator. Basically it dampens the sound. I didn't remove it because I thought it would affect emissions and also didn't want it to be too loud. I am still playing with the idea of removing it, but have not yet. I talked to the muffler shop, and it will not affect emissions, so no harm is done. If you are considering the Super 44, I highly recommend it. I love mine more and more every day. If you get it, post vids and let me know! I'd love to see.

  • @a7xbass94 thanks! and ya, i found a super 44 for a good price. thanks for the speedy response

  • @qwertas1243 Awesome. They are quite affordable. Please post a vid and let me know once youve got it! I'd be interested to see it especially if you get the resonator removed

  • @a7xbass94 sure thing

  • Oh, and if you are considering this, this video does the sound no justice. Once the muffler is 'broken in', it sounds excellent. If you are really interested, I can make another video soon.

  • the Flowmaster super 44 sounds great it has a nice deep rumble tone to it flowmaster super 44 is the way to good

  • super 44 is the shit

  • hey on the part with the super 44 did u still have the resonator on it?

  • @peterrngl3 Yes. Resonator is still on. Only changes during this video was stock --> super 50 --> super 44 muffler.

  • Hey dude nice! I'm jealous! What do own a muffler shop? I just went from a Flowmaster 40 Series to a Hushpower, Sounded like crap. Now I got a Flowmaster Super 44 with 3inch inlet with two 2 1/2 inch outlets and still sounds like crap!

  • @rudedogii Thanks! I don't own a shop haha they just treated me very well and replaced the Super 50 when I didn't like it right after it was installed. Yours sounds pretty good too..watched the vid of it.

  • Nice one man!

  • A7xbass94 u totally made my mind up for me. FM Super44 it is . That friggin sounds means as all hell.

  • @staffy73 Thanks! Glad I could help...this was filmed in 20ish degree weather..now that it has been warmer, it sounds a hell of a lot better. Much deeper tones...I absolutely love it. Highly recommended.

  • get dual pipes too go with it
