i have a 1995 jeep cherokee sport, its a little quicker but its electronically limited to 115. my jeep accelerates just a little faster but i did some weight reduction and a higher flowing muffler. and i put on oversize fuel injectors and rebuilt the throttle body. my jeep only has a 4.0 inline 6. im guessing only maybe 220 hp on my jeep.

Awesome Jeep man. I just got a new 2010 Grand Cherokee with the 5.7. I love it so much. I'm going from a Charger R/T to the Jeep and the difference is quite big. Cops used to look at me all the time in the Charger. Now cops don't even think twice about a Jeep. The 5.7 in the Charger has 340hp, but the new Grand Cherokee has 370hp and a lot more torque. It's awesome in the snow too.
@jayw6one3 I just got a brand new 2010 Grand Cherokee with the Hemi. At the moment I get about 14, but it only has 300 miles on it. EPA promises around 20-22 on the highway and 14-16 around town. The engine has MDS which shuts off 4 cylinders when cruising to improve fuel economy. The Hemi would be A LOT more fun than the diesel!
@4wheeler14 how would shutting off fuel 2 4 cylinders make it get you better gas milage? there is still compression and that would make the engine need to revv higher for the less of power and added load, i dont think that would give you much or any better gas milage. just my opinion though
too be honest not too good. im averaging about 10mpg right now, but i only usually drive 8thousand miles a year. so the poor mileage does not bother me too much
ive gone 125 in my 4.7..
