Could you do another tutorial as yours are so clear and helpful. I was wondering for example what do you do when you have a half note and it's connected by a horizontal line to another half note or something else or when you have a quarter note and the vertical line is going down instead of up or the other way round.

Great video! I have a few questions though. Does the principle goes the same with a brass player? And do you read Treble clef and the bass clef at the same time from left to right? Playing both at the same time?

I just have a few questions: Why are some of the notes upside down and others aren't and what's the difference?

And last just to make sure I wanted to ask when you play notes like "♫" do you hold the first note, and once you hit the second note you let go of the first note to get that long note sound? - Just asking to make sure so I get it right.

Yo man great work with all the basic sheet reading videos. helped me out alot to understand. but how about those types of notes on that sheet u showed us. upside down ones and all those out there for piano music. I have many music sheets that have all that but i dont kno what those mean and how many times i play thoses keys. U kno wat i mean?

one question, i have a 61 key keyboard where the first key is a "C" could u tell me if this is a "C1" or a "C2" as u use an 88 key keyboard.

how would i adapt the notes to a smaller keyboard? the one i have right now only has 4 octaves (starting and ending in C, with 5 total).

this would make my middle c c2.5 so i don't think that's going to work. :\
