Read the Dragonball Multiverse web-comic. It's really awesome, and there's actually a story line where every Namekian fuses together and beats Frieza easily.
Well guys even if Vegeta never met Kami personally he surely must have heard of him and his importance during those 3 years of training as he was the godamn Guardian/God of the Earth and creator of the Dragon Balls. The word Kami means "God" for some reason so he could figure it out anyway. Even Mr. Satan knows who Kami is even when he doesn´t believe that Dende bears the title.
What always bugged me is that with this awesome ability, why couldn't the nameks all merge into one when freiza attacked? They would have been almost unstoppable.
I remember guru was telling gohan and krillin a story about how a saiyan beat this one namek. He said the reason why he was able to do that was becaue that saiyan was a super saiyan. Piccolo power is the same or a bit higher than frieza. Seems the writer got cought up and forgot about that lol. Then again since he did merge with nail, that did help in making him even more powerful by adding kama. Nevermind then lol
so Kami had a power level less than 350 (it was less than piccolo's when he faced raditz) and yet by merging with Kami, he goes from just over 1million in power level to whatever billion digit that a super saiyan is..... Just what the fuck is this shows logic?!!!
@boredwan you also gotta remember he fused with nail.......and from what I can remember back in the DB series kami himself was one of those rare strong namekians, also there's a reference in the dbz where he told piccolo that if they only fused earlier frieza wouldn't even be a challenge.........

@boredwan Hmm good point thus why I watch the fights with no fillers on youtube lol, also tryiing to figure out that mystery. So many people watch DBZ knowing that for 20 episodes its only a 5 to 10 minute fight........
As far as the power level goes I'm guessing that even though piccolo and kami were one person before I'm assuming he was originally strong already so he didn't really gain any new powers just his old one and I think kami was holding most of it even if he's old *shrugs*...
@Poeticbladezero piccollo and kami had similar power levels in dragonball. Piccollo Jr. Who is now just piccollo, was twice as strong as kami in the begining of dragonball Z. He was 5,000x that when he went to namek and joined with nail (10000x kami's power).
I don't get how that equates to over 5 billion.
I guess each fusion is just 5000x your original power.
@JustThink00 Well I wouldn't say the original super namek, just regular since. 1) That was with the Piccolo Daimaio, 2) Piccolo is much stronger at the time of this fusion and that plays a big part.

@bvadams1234 Putting Krillin and Vegeta on the same level, yes. But we cannot forget that Krillin is just a lowly human, while Vegeta is supposed to be a Super Saiya-jin Elite. His inferiority complex makes his defeats twice, if not three times more embarassing than someone who already knows they will lose. Vegeta's biggest accomplishment was killing Android 19, that's it.
@sacr3 Obviously you need to watch DBZ again. The only person who was an SSJ during the Frieza saga was Goku. At that time, Piccolo was stronger than Vegeta, but Vegeta managed to go SSJ, which gave him a huge boost in power, but not enough to face Cyborg 17 and 18. So, Piccolo fused with Kami to become strong enough to face the Androids, seeing how Goku was sick with the Heart virus.

@BrolyIsMaximum Being stronger than someone doesn't mean that you are better than they are. Battle power only reads the potential of strength in the person. It doesn't read their skill in combat, nor does it read how fast they are. Example: Frieza(second) v.s. Piccolo. Frieza's second form was over 1 million, while Piccolo fused with Nail was only 800k, and yet Piccolo was able to fight him easily, even with weighted clothing on.
@BrolyIsMaximum Perhaps he was, but what I do know is that when Frieza went to his final form, he was toying with Vegeta the entire time, and wanted to see what he could do, so it's not inconceivable to believe that Frieza held back just to give Vegeta the false impression that he could win. Vegeta did reach 1 million after being healed for near death, but Frieza's speed was so great that it didn't mean a thing. Example: Piccolo was 800k at Frieza's second form, which was over 1 million, and Piccolo was easily able to overwhelm him. Frieza transforms to his third form, and Piccolo loses his speed advantage.

Did I specifically say he hurt Cell? For example, in the frieza saga, Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin attact frieza 2nd form and they can't even stun him.
Tien is definitely weaker than frieza, and Cell is without doubt, stronger than a super saiyan so that's an accomplishment.

@bvadams1234 Putting Krillin and Vegeta on the same level, yes. But we cannot forget that Krillin is just a lowly human, while Vegeta is supposed to be a Super Saiya-jin Elite. His inferiority complex makes his defeats twice, if not three times more embarassing than someone who already knows they will lose. Vegeta's biggest accomplishment was killing Android 19, that's it.

@sacr3 Obviously you need to watch DBZ again. The only person who was an SSJ during the Frieza saga was Goku. At that time, Piccolo was stronger than Vegeta, but Vegeta managed to go SSJ, which gave him a huge boost in power, but not enough to face Cyborg 17 and 18. So, Piccolo fused with Kami to become strong enough to face the Androids, seeing how Goku was sick with the Heart virus.

@BrolyIsMaximum Being stronger than someone doesn't mean that you are better than they are. Battle power only reads the potential of strength in the person. It doesn't read their skill in combat, nor does it read how fast they are. Example: Frieza(second) v.s. Piccolo. Frieza's second form was over 1 million, while Piccolo fused with Nail was only 800k, and yet Piccolo was able to fight him easily, even with weighted clothing on.

@BrolyIsMaximum Perhaps he was, but what I do know is that when Frieza went to his final form, he was toying with Vegeta the entire time, and wanted to see what he could do, so it's not inconceivable to believe that Frieza held back just to give Vegeta the false impression that he could win. It's Frieza, after all.

Vegeta did reach 1 million after being healed for near death, but Frieza's speed was so great that it didn't mean a thing. Example: Piccolo was 800k at Frieza's second form, which was over 1 million, and Piccolo was easily able to overwhelm him. Frieza transforms to his third form, and Piccolo loses his speed advantage.
