I had Mom's Knife for the first time yesterday. Since I beat Sheol with all the characters and still need to get to 100 deaths, I was like 'well technically I won so Ill just let myself here to die.' Didnt take into account all the passive damage from Guardian Angel, Cobe of Meat, Mom's Knife and the Virus, so I ended up beating Satan literally just standing around doing nothing.

..well I got myself a sandwich, Isaac didnt do anything besides standing around.

its cuz isaac is a java app, and yr pc bios only gives java apps so much memory allocation. You have to change that in yr bios and there wont be anymore slowdowns

When I run Isaac on what I lovingly refer to as my "Craptop", it's this slow IN EVERY ROOM, EVERY TIME. Aside from that, interesting fact: If you gain asstons of spirit hearts, thet will stack up off screen, and damage won't register on your visible health until they are depleted.

One thing you keep mistaking is the Money = Power item.

It doesn't gives you more damage the more money you HAVE, but, instead, gives you more damage for the more money you GAIN

So having 99 cents and getting the item will do nothing while getting a dollar will buff you

The same way, losing money to greed will get your damage down but getting the exact amount of money wont "refill" your power

If I'm not mistaken, you gain 1 atack for each 15 money gotten

to make thing's clear i got to the wiki and found this for you for mom's knife (read the last line)

The knife is tied to your base damage and shot effects

Also, finding Fetus in a Jar after Mom's Knife does nothing except give you the monocle and top hat.

And when you use My Little Unicorn ( or the Chariot card ) the Knife does not disappear, allowing you to stab, throw the knife, and charge around at the same time.

It is possible to increase damage enough to kill everything in one shot.

a health down pill shares the same trate as the bad trip pill. whilst the bad trip pill gives you full health at one heart, the health down pill becomes a health up pill at one heart (as in not only one heart container but one full or half full heart). though the heart you get is empty so if you don't have a full health pill or more red hearts laing around it's not really recommended to do so.

the parasite and Loki's horns is a very good combination, it's essentially bullet hell for the enemies.

For me, the parasite really shines in doing secondary damage to other enemies near your target. Flies coming in a swarm, for example.

As for items, the way the parasite works is that the split shot works off the remaining range left on the shot. So, range up is huge for the parasite. Piercing shot as well works well.

I avoid the ouija board when I have the parasite. Simply because the parasite allows you to fire around corners when the shot his an object or wall and you can't with the board.

Homing Tears + the Parasite is a good combo, because then the split tears will home in on the nearest enemies. Its pretty nifty.

Don't ever get nine lives while you have so many hearts. I had about the same amount of hearts that you have when you saw nine lives, and I picked it up and my hearts were instantly reduced to one heart, and it goes back to one heart every time.

I'm pretty sure that nine lives always resets your health to 1 no matter what, and health pickups after collecting it only affect that life, not sure about other powerups.
