  • If you have white or grey in your beard, and you still smoke, you da man. (:

  • My attempt at describing a salvia trip:

Salvia trips are very intense but very short, seconds after inhaling you will start feeling it and soon your whole vision will shatter like a broken glass. Every single thing around you will start changing and soon you will not be able to recognize anything around you. At this point hallucinations get overwhelming and you start losing yourself in them while your mind just recoils in horror. You are completely detached from the physical world.

  • I've never taken salvia before and was thinking about taking it without a sitter and just do it in my room by myself would anyone recommend this? I have 20x ready to take.

  • I STRAIGHT FELT LIKE PAGES WERE FLIPPING..AND I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT AND THEM FLIPPING WAS JUST TIME GOING.. SALVIA TAKES YOU TO ZERO TIME. OR CLOSE TO IT. :) 1111

  • So very strange. Ride the neon-pink ringed tunnel to the carnival of creation.

  • Felt and saw the same as you did

  • lol i thought you said "colon identity"

  • nice

  • simailar to my trip. Flat surfaces were no longer flat, there was something else to them, the ground had different dimensions thati could feel and run my hand along, it felt better to touch the new dimensions than the original floor, it made my hands feel.. complete? my second trip was horrible, i fell backwards into a world of colour and it span round and round non stop, i could see the door and i kept trying to grab the walls to pull the room the right way up so i could escape.

  • everything was so alive

  • I actually found your video to be more informative than the others and I believe this is because you are using in a more responsible way. This drug is called divinorum because it is supposed to bring about spiritual experiences not mind bending trips that make no sence. Good job Sir nice video...

  • Great Video very informative! Probably the only video on youtube where you actually take this subject seriously.

  • Thank you, that was all I wanted to know. Look forward to hearing about your next trip.

  • about time we got a good report of what happens, instead of geeky teens giggling

  • nowenterpsie, have you ever tried DMT?

  • you look like an old eric koston hahaa

  • i have anxiety would i loose my mind if i took this by over thinking the experience

  • i was sitting in a wicker seat when i did it and i felt trapped by the chair and i felt like i was moving like the intertwindness of the seats material and then i could start to see myself move like i was looking at myself in a slow motioned security camera. it scared me i thought it wasnt going to end. and for some reason i had a hard time going up stairs and i couldnt open door handles

  • Whilst you are experiencing the trip, do you still keep your normal thought process? so are you still aware of your thoughts and doyou still consciously pay attention to them or are you completely out of control

  • @stoxocube18 You're not really in control of your thoughts, while tripping you kind of forget your sense of being and you can't really think about anything in the past, everything you see is distorted but it feels natural but you can't understand anything

  • all three times ive smoked x10. I have become the room and its made of either Leather, or Legos. First time I was in a huge book and it was flipping over on my...like a real life pop up book. i want to try some x20 or x 30. great video

  • Colin, thank you so much for your video, I too had the huge 'tunnelling' first time round, just about to go for my second, your experiences is helping me make sense of my own, keep up the great work, namaste x

  • You sure you're not still high?

  • 5x isn't much man...

  • Thank you. Well put. The "solidifying" is a great way to describe it. For me, that's accompanied by a basic terror, like a fly trapped in a spider's web.

Also liked the bit about the angle having an added dimension. So when you're locking up, you're locked up from directions and in places you've never known before.

This is not metaphor. Locked up means physical locked. "One with the room"-- you're physically one with the room. And that's fucking scary!

If you haven't done Salvia you may thin

  • a ghost at 2 : 02... but ye man that salv is sumthnn else..i heard it said that another name is the "spirit of the ghost" ..n i seem to feel like i am blood circulating ..n always somethn is talking with me and always a presence of vibrant-cy .

  • It felt like a movie! i know!

  • I like the way you explained you trip in such in intellectual way. :)

  • hahahah this guy is funny.. creating new realities n shit.. stop doing drugs omg! u crazy hoe! we keep giving you so many chances to stop its not even funny bro.. lmao

  • NO BODY CAN HEAR YOU FUCKIN LOSER~~

  • 2:00 GHOST xD

  • i SAW GUMMY BEARS Xd

  • ERIC FUCKING KOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha shouldnt u be bs nosebluntsliding a 13 stair handrail instead of smoking salvia!?!?!?!?!?

  • You nailed it man I can't explain how right you are about becoming surrounding

  • dont try it. i did, and is being absolutely terrifying. i wont never touch that shit again in my life.

  • do you still have perception of time? or is time inexistant in that.. supreme state of awareness?

  • @pumitaproductions

It's like everything at once, i'd say no

  • thats very interesting... i look forward to trying it

  • You have a very interesting accent, where are you from?

  • i can't remember most of my trip i blacked out, the bits i remember were mind blowing, the best thing about it was the next few days things seemed unimportant

  • Comment removed

  • In my letters their is no decision reality combine to the next step to what we can or not be The Answer has Always been within us The decision is within us

  • Is that insight only for the Young? Or is it for all aspects of this thing we call Society. There are older one's asking this Question that you ask. I am one. I grew up in this Backward forward society .Iv come out from a conservative to a realist I reject the lies of the media. Sometimes. I believe I'm so wise, Sometimes.I Believe Iv learned nothing. One thing disturber's me is the Road we are on.

  • @geiadude

    Whats this?

    I mean in good way..

  • as stupid as it might sound i think birds are the best to view and become while on salvia, for me personally it was pure, and innocent and free, both worry free and thought free, and you are just overwhelmingly happy.

  • i just tripped on it for about the 18th time, and this one was about the scariest, even though i was everything, lying on my back in the grass, it was like i was everything or everything was me, it also felt like i was running around in my own head with lady salvia for a while, Me and lady salvia have a decent relationship, but salvia scares me shitless.

  • This explanation by far resounds my own experience with the plant, i have a feeling of being completed because i have merged with all these bouncing molecules in my immediate surroundings. You speak of this interlocking aspect of the trip in which i have also felt, it is almost an agreement or participatory event where "becoming one" actually sets in. This "locking" feeling (in my opinion) is actually composed of a myriad spiral points that actually reflect the center of

  • myself (the strong gravitational pull/dizziness) and mirrored through these locking cognitive pieces. It feels quite familiar as if i've known this dimension (salvia) quite well. I also have seen these interlocking spaces create the hyper real dimensional aspect which you spoke of in your explanation of the angles in your room, i don't know how 3-d can become more 3-d but maybe you noticed that there was almost a way of going behind it?

    Thanks for sharing

  • Just wondering this whole "bad trip" thing scares me. I was wondering if it happens often?

  • @rocketman987654321

In a Shamanistic approach there is no such thing as a bad trip, it literally doesn't exist, there is only movement toward inward regurgitation; understanding and something close to an exorcism (bad trip). It (salvia) is like an animal in which it senses fear so if you go under it, that fear will magnify. It helps to just let go.

  • Figure 8 movement : )

Feels like the page edges of a book made from a sphere

Once u step in the sphere of pages

    Your mind is open

    All is one

  • @beyondbelief360 what's the figure 8 movement?

  • THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

  • dude you have an accent you look so different but in a good way like all breeds of human black, white ,asian but not british , but you talk like it, im not makeing fun of you just describeing you. but your cool

  • lol you look and talk like a university professor but here your talking about the big toke on salvia you had yesterday :P

  • This is probably one of the more interesting salvia videos. Salvia has blown my mind when it comes to consciousness./perception

  • My speakers are all the way up and I still can't hear you. Next time please record at decent levels.

  • i had an out of body trip on 20x, i completely forgot who i was, it was the scariest thing in my life but one of the most informative

  • haha your awesome

  • 5x, seriously? I don't want to be an Internet tough guy, but 5x didn't do jack shit for me. 30x and up is where it's at. Don't waste your money on drugs that don't even give you a spiritual experience.

  • @LolitaSupreme it sounds like there was a high spiritual experience ;)

  • @Nest1089

He must have an incredibly low tolerance. I like your profile picture, by the way.

  • Mine and it seems your trip as well appears to be very similar to a left brain stroke. If you've ever read Jill Bolte Taylor's book about her stroke it sounds similar. I'd like to see a P.E.T. scan of a brain on salvia.

  • do you remember the experience vividly, or do you have trouble, if any, integrating experiences?

  • Cant hear you.

  • I loce the way people try to describe salvia trips. Even in the comments! Its poetic. :)

  • There's not enough room in this comment box to fit in what I want to say :(

But I agree, I found on my strongest trip that the transition from my "trip world" to the "real world" was really strange because I had entered the trip without even noticing, but coming out of it took longer and the "real" world was annoying me because it was just so fake, I wanted it to be real again(go back to the trip).

A bit wordy I know, but it's the best I can do. Too hard to explain :P

  • Your accent is hypnotizing. It felt like I was on salvia just listening to you.

  • @ocmozfan i was literally thinking the exact same thing when i was watching this. really weird...

  • Exactly the same experience I got with salvia . Crazy thing , good times . Im looking forward to try DMT but its hard to obtain .

  • salvia is weird.

  • I haven't heard it described so accurately to my own early trials with Uncle Sal.

The complete removal of self (and the accompanying awareness from the perspective of the ALL), the uneasiness of the transitional phases, and the overwhelming feeling of unbiased observation from a totally fresh vantage point.

Love it! Keep going down that hole, my friend. I've had a only one truly terrifying encounter on Salvia, and it is definitely the one that stayed with me the most. Haven't gone back yet.

  • can anyone please tell me how to avoid a bad trip with salvia? i find it very interesting and i wanna try it but idk if id be able to handle a bad trip. and i think when you use psycadleics u have to have the right state of mind, and i dont think i have a stable mind.

  • @NickSrp1 Never did Salvia, but have done LSD, etc. Environment and mental state a trip quality factor, but also concentration of substance, or manner consumed. Anyway, Salvia sounds too freaky for my tastes, plus I'm well out of my drug phase days. My last tripping was with Ambien (sleep aid), till it quit working. Caused mild visual illusions, then zonk. In the end it backfired, causing panic and insomnia, so quit drug.

  • I think it's so hard to explain the trip (particularly with the aim of describing it to someone who hasn't had salvia) because they're not general, everyday experiences... so there are no words for what happens... it's like explaining a colour that doesn't exist, or even trying to think of a colour that's different from the ones we know.. you cant do it... you need to have seen them to know

  • same thing with me, all of the corners and edges that stuck out were accentuated, then they pulled almost taking me with them it seemed. cool vid!

  • Salvia is dissociative in nature and you realize you're all of it. Not a little me but all of it.

  • Is this legal in South Cali? I heard it was outlawed in some other states.

  • Please up the sound on this - my volume is maxed and I can't hear you!

  • Exploring the doors of perception is facinating- these tools which serve as catalyst along with a balanced mind can lead to amazing discoveries of self and the oneness that binds all manifested. Thanks for sharing your experience- must be challenging to describe journeys into other realms.

  • I decided today that i hate Salvia, every time I take a hit and wait for the results I hear and see two people and they wont stop bothering me they keep saying lets go lets go!..... its annoying.

  • My roomate gave me some He fell on the floor and I could not stop laughing. He said demons were dragging him through the house and was terrified after

  • Hey man, excellent description. I especially know what you mean when you say when your at the peak it feels completely normal. I did it for the first time a couple of day ago, and when I reached that point, I felt like that was infact much more "real" than reality, and that the world we are used to living in which I had briefly left was in fact not as significant! It also felt slightly familiar in some strange way, like i was returning to a place I had been before, like I was being welcomed back

  • love your description... just smoked some 10x last night for first time in years. similar to last time, its a little scary going "into" that mode of being, but coming out of it is overwhelmingly awe-inspiring and bittersweet.

  • that was a rad description. in ways i wish the effects would be longer, but the impact that might have on your physical safety scares the crap out of me. it is one intense plant.

  • Thank you!!! I've smoked 40x about 3 or 4 times and it convinces me EVERY TIME that I am the room. At the end of the trip it's like I'm trying to pull myself apart from everything else and it actually is very uncomfortable and kind of hurts. I feel completely connected to everything around me. I need to try not to fight it next time. It also makes me feel as though eveyone I know has known that I have been connected to everything but they have been pretending I am a person so I won't know.

  • i am curious...do you feel a change in your personality..any long lasting changes?

  • @CyndyNeg Not sure if it should be called a change in personality, but something about really experiencing another 'non-human' state or condition does allow for a kind of infinite flexibility of being-awareness. As part of a general 'unfolding' and discovery the Salvia experiences have cetainly left their mark, in a subtle yet powerful way. (note: a prior ayahuasca experience and its aftermath seems to have affected personality and mood far more).

    Peace

  • @CyndyNeg I tried salvia a few weeks ago for the first time. It was an very unique experience. What I experienced was the 'salvia wheel'. Something that is common when using salvia. I must say that it felt like an very intense dream. Just like with dreams, the experience fades away over time.

  • Thanks. 2 comments.

Your loss of the self boundaries mirrors what experienced mediators describe.

The description of the table not being a table but only its angles was great. Our brains subconsciously interpret the world. It seems this interpretation completely goes away for you. Fascinating.

  • This is great, we need more people who can give an intelligent description of their responsible use of Salvia. Thanks for posting this.

  • Good video! Very interesting. Do you recommend the weaker salvia extractions?? I've seen some stuff on Youtube of 80x and 100x... That all seemed a bit heavy. I smoke straight DMT and DMT with B. Caapi quite regularly, is it comparable to that?? (if you've tried that of course...!)

  • We need more people like you in the world.

  • you are good straight up smoker just like me and we have the same types of highs.

  • Step 1 Be an ordinary human "thinking thoughts" "in your head"

Step 2 Find a room, be alone! load pipe with salvia inhale deeply, and begin vibrating

Step 3 Wonder, Wait this is supposed to be a psychedelic plant i'm smoking?

Step 4 Realize you are not a voice in your head controlling a human body thinking thoughts

Step 5. Realize You're every single thing you are seeing hearing thinking and feeling, I mean "Everything!"

Step 6. Oh no wait everything is a thousand dancing laughing elves

  • question for ppl that have experienced salvia: have got any bad experiences? I've seen ppl on other vids that get scared and paranoia. I'm a regular toker but I'm curious about salvia since it can help me to astral project but I'm not sure to try it.

  • @TheIrieGamer just stay in a dark room laying down with a calm and responsible an quiet sitter ( a sober friend )

  • ...thats because there is no Collin. Never will be. Thats just a symbol to describe your shell, machine, or body. Call it whatever you like. The real you is your soul, spirit, or consciesness.

  • I THINK THIS (SALVIA) IS CAUSING A SPIRITUAL REVOLUTION!

  • @Sirko7

I would claim more psychological than spiritual.

  • @explizidace It can be spiritual when your mind is tuned to look deeper under "normal" conditions. These tools only open the door, your state of mind will determine the course. Its why some folks have "bad trips" when they unlock.

  • i have my speakers turned up all the way... but i still cant hear

  • @Roboctopuz Use studio headphones if you have any.

  • cant hear you dude.

  • @Remember1012 Yes, Salvia is completely legal. You can go to your nearest smoker shop or gas station and they will probably have it. The higher potency you buy, the more expensive it is.

  • have you tried dmt?

  • I should try salvia...even if y never do drug before ?

  • great video. very accurate description. i found this very interesting and can relate to completely from my experiences.

  • Very interesting listening to you. I like how you explain 'sense of being, or awarness' Its a very interesting experience to say the least. The people that dont reflect on it like you are the ones 'not aware' and probably will never do it again. Real 20X WILL scare you.

  • Make a video of you doing it then describe what you saw !

  • You need to speak up a bit, I've got volume up high on everything but you are heard only dimly (they don't have speakers here with volume knobs, its all digital, but you record comparatively low...) Anyway, you're message is important, and especially when compared to most of what I see on the subject, worth hearing. Tell me this: Did you LIKE it? Another thing: Did you ever try regular leaf? Try smoking one single regular leaf, maybe two... I think this experience may be very dose-specific

  • your description is the best i have heard that relates to my most intense salvia experiences. Awareness is there, but it is not the old awareness.

Things seemed to become visible --things that had been locked outside the field of view while I was "me." What I don't get is how "I" can remember experiences that were "not mine." I think that is where the "intruder" sense comes from: we do not feel we have the right to observe things that are not objects of our own personal apprehension.

  • @noonewn You answered your own question. You simply changed levels of awareness. There is no NOT being you. You are and will always be YOU. There is no destroying you. There is no non-existant YOU. There is NO such thing as time in the bigger picture. Time is something you create. So the YOU that you are NOW is the you that always has been and always will be. Hope this helps you understand. If you could at any time not be you then you could not be in existance.

  • @letmeseethat1 Indeed it did help me very much. I understand -- thanks for all of the above. I guess still need to connect it all together enough your very last sentence to seem true for me. But with all the rest of it, I went, "Ahh, yesss!" :-)

  • Indescribable, I felt as if the entire room, including my friend's, became one. I was in a kind of flip-book in which I had no control over what was actually happening.

  • @almuini OK, so why not?

  • @nowenterpsie 'cause there isn't much and we are many, lol

  • @nowenterpsie

It's not a drug, it's a PLANT! Drugs are XANAX, ANTIBIOTICS, and OTHER CRAP our pharmaceuticals sell us!

  • @almuini Do drugs!

  • @almuini Don't do drugs! (Retard) You are a PURE RETARD. Do you even know what the word "drugs" means? No, because you really are a grade-A idiot.

  • @almuini dont drink alcohol then?

  • @almuini maybe you should try it,,maybe then you wouldnt be such a tight ass!

  • (continued) ... and by taking salvia, we can somehow return to 'our orginal state' . And maybe thats why it seems so famliar when we enter the salvaic trance. And when we die, all our human memories and thoughts and ego of the being die completely, and you return to your true 'being', which would be of pure conciousness. Great videos

  • (continued) ... You are completely right about the familiarity of the state, not questioning how wierd it is until you come back...which kind of makes me feel like we are orignally beings of pure concious that enter our human bodies by choice... forgetting everything of the concious realm for the time being as a human....we then learn and experience all the things humans do, which makes us who we are as humans...

  • thanks for the detailed description... even though our language cannot begin to capture the true visions / feelings of a great salvia experience. You talked about a complete loss of your human ego. That is a huge part for me... it seems that when i enter the salvaic state, i leave behind my ego completely, like i am a completely different being when i enter that realm...

  • there is a loss of seperation and surroundings.and paranioa and everything seem odd, like a object is not a object but more one with you.

  • Edit: Not children, infants. For about 9 months after birth.

  • Also, what you're describing is a very A-dualistic experience. Children, before differentiating from their environment on a physical level, can't actually tell where their bodies end and their environment begins.

Perhaps you're regressing to this very early childhood state - but with a bit more mental capacity to make the experience more rich and less shallow.

My personal opinion is that a lot of regressing and accessing primal parts of the brain takes place on salvia.

  • I very much appreciate you making this video. We need more voices of intelligence describing the experience(s). I'm very glad to see someone who can actually articulate themselves well.

What you describe is a very "ascending" experience. The Many (pluralistic) into the One.

My personal experience has been very "descending". I experienced life as a child again. Which I could write a thesis on the experience...

I had my trip laying down on my bed though. I should try sitting up right.

  • Excellent description. You hit on some really key points about the experience. I'll look forward to your next post.

  • i want to do 160x my first time

  • i wouldnt sugest it lol i did it my 5th time and sally gave me one hell of a ride ! but its up to you ..

  • Very accurate description at one level, and I identified with everything.

I love the way we regress until we look at the world with childlike eyes, without the adult thinking and processing, just being... fetching the ball on the other side of the street with no thought of cars or danger.

I suggest you do it outside, like you noted you can become the environment, why become the compartmentalised apartmentised world when you can become all of nature?

  • Hey poepflater,

Excellent suggestion to do it outside, that sounds appealing.

  • @nowenterpsie it may sound appealing, but being one with EVERYTHING is almost overwhelming, i find when i do it surrounded by 4 walls, it's much less frightening.

  • @poepflater Shit thats deep, man

  • Interesting video. A few years ago I bought bulk loads of Salvia, divided it up with baggies and a scale, and sold it on Ebay for extra cash. I grew about 30 plants under lights in the middle of Kansas winter as well. On the erowid site there are multiple unrelated reports of little troll/gnome creatures being seen with repeated hits of 20 or 40X strength salvia. I tried some 40x once or twice...but sadly...no gnomes. Won't be long before it is a schedule one illegal substance though.

  • Yeah, I am uploading a vid about another Salvia trip around the same time as this one last year that involved the gnome thingy.

  • Thanks for the video. Yeah, salvia is really different.
