This sounds as good today as it did 45 years ago! I saw them on Ed Sullivan, at Shea Stadium (on TV), and "Help!" at the movies. It's amazing how great these guys were from Day 1, and how they evolved into something completely new, but still blew pretty much everyone else away! A rare bow to the Fab Four from a Stones diehard who thinks "This Boy" is perfect in every way. Nothing overwrought, just great music, a magnificent legacy from the group's most gifted member. Lennon shares the usual credit with McCartney but clearly owns this song and drives it home with his wonderful vocal lead. I don't think I'll ever tire of it. Thanks for posting.
