of course GT graphics are so much better and so photo realistic, but looks at the speed sense! in GT you just can't feel how far is the corner and just brake in time just because you remember, but not feel!

As far as I have seen console game dev teams push the envelope not PC devs (this may change). Naughty Dog is usually at the front of the pack. Sure ragdolls were introduced to consoles in Jak 2 (possibly deved on PC) but, Texture Streaming was made on PS1 by Naughty Dog for Crash Bandicoot, new (sometimes better/worse) controllers were made for consoles & PC adopted them. Devs have to really optimize to make games like U3 & if they can do that on a console just imagine what they can do on PC! Hm

I quite frankly am glad to see PC games like "The Witcher 2" (2011) and "ACR" (1st I've heard of this idk) this means that developers are finally using PC's potential more. To Me it seems dev teams are mostly behind the curve look at PS3's "U3: Drake's Deception" (2011) vs "The Witcher 2". Course The Witcher 2 looks better but, Uncarted 3 comes very close in terms of graphics considering PS3's specs. If a 6 yr old console's games graphics can rival a NEW PC game's grafex somethings wrong! Right?

Actually PC has been better in the GPU department for quite some time now but, the high end PC gaming rigs are now finally up to speed in the CPU department. Belive it or not some high end smartphones (like the NEW Droid RAZR by Motorola) have more RAM than BOTH the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 Combined.

PS Vita has as much RAM as PS3 and 10MB less than X360. Those are the indisputable facts! Technology moves forward, all the time.

Can't we all just agree that ACR (PC) Looks better than GT5 (PS3) & that GT5 looks better than FM4 (X360)? Can we agree that PC (On the high end 4 CPU cores at 3GHz 8GB RAM with a 2.4Ghz GPU & 2GB VRAM) is more powerful than PS3 (6 usable CPU cores at 3.2Ghz 256MB RAM with a 550Mhz GPU & 256MB VRAM) & PS3 is more powerful than X360 (3 CPU cores at 3.2GHz 512MB total shared RAM/VRAM & a 500Mhz GPU with 10MB EDRAM). So... FM4<GT5<ACR & X360<PS3<High end 2012 PCs! Do the math! PC is better.

Besides if a game hasn't limits it would be to expensive to play because of the price.

@dooder39 Eh... How should I put this... If you think I am a PC-elitist, you're wrong. The only gaming platform I own is a PS3. With that post I just mean, that you cant compare PC games and console games, because PC in theory has no limits. Of course PC DOES have it's limits, but the limit is way above the console limit. PC game developers don't have to look at the platform limits, that's why PC games have better textures and such.

@MrUppmas Good for you, I have a PS3 too. Anyway, if a game has to high-end graphics it wouldn't sale because:

- Many people have to low specs.

- It would cost to much to buy and let it run on a PC.

Besides, the reason why PC games looks better then console is because the PC is ALWAYS the lead platform. If a developer says we use a PS3 as lead platform, they actualy mean the lead platform of consoles. You seriously don't think the PS3 reached his limits do you?

Auto Club Revolution looks better, sounds better and is more realistic. No doubt about that.

ACR is a simulation game, GT5 an arcade. You can't compare them in termes of physics.

Road and curb textures are much sweeter in ACR. But if you're ever been in Spa you'll see the version of Spa in GT5 is far more realistic: run-off zones, basic curve shapes, environment, ...

I play ACR Beta myself, it will be a very cool game but I hope the circuits get some changes when it will be released.

Sudenly it was 1999 all over again, and i was playing NFS3 o 4. ACR is a good game, but doesnt come near to GT5, or even older PC games like GT Legends!

GT5 has a laser-cast track as iRacing (a PC game that has made​laser tracks). And it can be seen on individual sections of the track, not to mention his true appearance, which also falls in favor of GT5. The game for the PC has better texture and is the only plus in comparison to GT5 on PS3.

Just look at Kimi Raikkonen's real F1 lap on Spa watch?v=tT09p51cfSI , and now tell me which one is better. Surely, ACR has higher detailed textures and scenery, but when it comes to accuracy, GT5 version is the closest to real as it will ever get. ACR has incorrect kerbs positioning, missing track lines, too wide sections (look at the straight after Eau Rouge, how much wider it is in ACR than in real life), lightning and scenery looking good, but nowhere near the real track.

Make a 'reality' check and GT5 wins. ACR has very detailed textures and details but the closest to reality is the GT5 version. With C.A.R.S version of SPA (not finished) happens the same, it looks amazing but is not as accurate as GT5 version.

Of course those tracks are going to 'look better' with more quality textures but as accurate as in GT5 compared with the real ones no. On GT5 you are in a virtual real track.

I have tons of games with SPA and Nurburgring and GT5 has the best versions

gt5's spa looks like today's spa and acr's looks lie the historic spa so they both are good in their own aspects... gt5's trees arent the best, and im not sure if those skid-marks in acr are correct... why cant we all appreciate the good parts on games instead of always taking out their small mistakes? it's much more fun then.. and isnt that the point of these?
