ive been trying to find one of their acts that i saw on tv. its where they're talking to some important person (don't remember his name) and they were trying to get the guy to come to their performance of jack and the beanstalk and the guy kept asking all these stupid questions. like costello would say, "i play jack" and the guy would ask "how did you get the name of jack?" and costello would just look at the camera, then turn to abbott and say "this guy's worse than you!" whats that called??

I performed the who's on first for my acting class. And my partner and I got an A+ for our final. Of course in the end we gave props and thanks to Abbott and costello. Our teacher knew the act and told us we did it perfect.

Clean comedy done this well goes to show that there are plenty of things to laugh at without being inappropriate for your kids to watch. @milber21 Ah yes, that was the result of the YT "vote bots" onslaught that was all the craze for a while. All my videos were rated 4.5-5 stars. Then I'd have videos that showed, say, 58 views with 97 1 star ratings. (Of course, this was before the simple "like/dislike" rating.)

Good thing I don't try to get featured or otherwise care about the ratings, eh? :)

@jfake1980 This video has always appeared to me to have no real audience. I think someone said in a comment below that this particular video was shot for their TV show. "Canned laughter" was the thing back then rather than shooting in front of a live audience. All I know is that there is simply NO WAY that people could sit and watch live that without laughing hysterically.
