They were awarded the state of Israel after long negotiations with the League of Nations, UN, and Britain (who desperately tried to stop them). But I've never heard one Israeli official recognise the state of Palestine within its international legal borders (i;e. 1967). Furthermore, I can't see Hamas kick Israel's ass. In Iran, the Baha'i minority is persecuted severely and killed, and all their holy places and cemeteries demolished. In Israel, they have their international headquarters, and their gardens and shrines are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Muslims have all control over the Temple Mount, a Jewish holy place. All Muslim citizens have full rights.

As a curious neutral i find it interesting that no statistics were offered to prove this point. Its rather easy to parade a few "examples" of anything one wishes to assert, but those of us with scientific or mathematical minds know that anecdotal evidence pales in insignificance when long term statistical studies are available.
One wonders what those stats would suggest.
