I'm happy to play the very limited parts of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto that are within my ability. Then I sit down and listen to the perfection of Perlman. Aaaaahhhhh...

It is a travesty that such a law would pass that discriminates against ten percent of the population...I thank you for showing that it is not hate which could have driven it not to pass. I live in a mostly conservative Oregon town, and yet one of the more popular seniors that graduated last year was openly gay. This brings me from my irrefutable logic to science (which sadly will probably also carry little weight with you). The genetic switch for sexual orientation has been discovered. Feel free to look it up. Genetically determined traits are as much a matter of choice as eye color or height.

Truly Mr. Perlman's music is inspirational. We find common ground there. He has a relaxed mastery of the mechanics and incredible ability to give life to each note and phrase. I'm happy to play the very limited parts of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto that are within my ability. Then I sit down and listen to the perfection of Perlman. Aaaaahhhhh...
And it is wonderful that all evidence points to Mr. Perlman being loving, humble and open. He is an inspiration as a human being and a fellow father.

Service members have been polled on how they feel about serving with ppl who ID themselves by their sexual preference and overwhelmingly the have rejected the idea of opennly gays serving side by side. It is a travesty that such a law would pass that discriminates against ten percent of the population...I thank you for showing that it is not hate which could have driven it not to pass. I live in a mostly conservative Oregon town, and yet one of the more popular seniors that graduated last year was openly gay. If conservative oregon can be accepting of homosexuals as an equal part of people, why can't california? I will write to the governor, and it won't be a gracious letter either.
