Man I really like the first truck!! An old MJ Refuse ASL probably 10 years old. And it looked even better refurbished and on a newer ACCO. But still not the same as on the International ACCO's, but still a beautiful truck. And the new Gen V recycler that you have is nice as well. The driver of the recycling truck seemed really nice, shame that you don't have drivers like that everywhere!

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT VID MATE, loved very minute of it. Yep you always get abit of a nice surpise with CLEANAWAY, they use to collect the recycling for Penrith City Council but now VISY Recycling collect it and now pretty much always get the same trucks.

Looks like a lot of Iveco chassis out your way.

The postman riding a moped is pretty cool. You would never see anything that cool in the states..liability!

The recycling guy was very cool showing your son the arm like that. Just one more thing you would be hard pressed to see here in the states.

Seems like Australia and New Zealand are still pretty cool places to grow up...

Just about every ASL in Australia is on an IVECO ACCO chassis! They have been specially designed for waste collection (which is why you really only see an ASL on and ACCO), and for the Australian conditons, they really are a 'Tough' truck! The IVECO Australia website that the IVECO ACCO might be exported to America! But they are a great truck!

Yeah, there are some Iveco box trucks around here and they do pretty well. The only issue here is that the parts are expensive.

Nice, I will tell you this, nothing beats an IVECO ACCO, Australian built since the 60's (when they were first made) and still going strong. They have to be the best truck for waste collection.

i ve never been able to ride with em cuz 1.. its illegal cuz of all the crazy bombers in america and 2..all the drivers in my area are illegal mexicans that dont know english and seem to lack the ability to to respect others they just stare and drive off

garbage truck rides are allways fun :).... i especially like the recycling truck, a MacDonald Johnston Sport Gen V recycler unit :P.. the truck seems only a few months old.. great vid m8

Neat vid mate!! Different trucks this time, too. Garbage truck looks like it's got an old body, but on a new chassis - interesting. Got a GenV aswell! - thought it was only Randwick that had them in Sydney... well I'm definitely coming down to Parra! :) Great vid!
