I live here in Hilliard, OH. Compared to the ghetto that is the rest of Columbus, Hilliard is really nice. People are nice, crime is fairly low, good place to live if you HAVE to live in Columbus.

@justjackyl420 What are you talking about? Columbus is not bad. The only areas that are ghetto are The Hilltop, Bottoms, Livingston area, and Northern lights. The north side is pretty safe expect for Northern lights. East side is just developing. So you are clueless. If you think Columbus is bad then move to Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati, or almost any other city in the Midwest and then let me know how dangerous Columbus is.

@MRY1181 Clueless huh? I've lived at 670 and 5th (whitehall/Bexley), I've lived at 21st and Fair(Downtown), I've lived in Reynoldsburg. They we're all infested with poverty stricken people who prey on each other. Ya, Columbus, like ANY major city is 25% good, and 75% ghetto. The only safe places to live anymore and not be disturbed is the countryside. And this is all an IMO, and the original comment was about how nice Hilliard was. So thanks for straying away from the main focus point.

i live in Hilliard and its a great place,i play for the hilliard football team,baseball team,and basketball team,in each sport we have won the championship against teams like marion,and west jeff,and other teams,overall hilliard is the best,if u think its boring u probably have no life or friends

yes the traffic is horrible... they should have widened the roads 10 years ago.. they wait til theres 35000 people and decide to do it.. money was there awhile ago. old hilliard is quaint but a very small part of hilliard.. why the hell did they cut down all the trees lining the streets in old hilliard..

Too bad this is only one street in the entire Hilliard area. Hilliard was nice about 10 years ago, until they continued expanding. Now it's just another commercial area, and all the farm area is gone. The road construction is a nightmare, and the traffic is horrid off of Hilliard-Rome and Scioto-Darby. Roberts isn't too pretty either.

Old Hilliard (which is shown here) is nice for a 10 minute stroll, but that's where the charm ends for the older feel.

I've was born and raised in Hilliard (39 years) and this video does not show the true Hilliard. Maybe 20 years ago but not now. Show the traffic on Main Street and Scioto Darby at 5:30! Show the trashy section 8 apartments on Hilliard Rome.

We have a lot of schools but that does not equate to a better education.

No mention of TAXES either... OMG Too bad Hilliard did not know when to stop growing.

I hate it when people complain about Hilliard, because it really is a great place to live. There's no crime, there's EVERYTHING (with the exception of a bookstore) and it's very well maintained. It's better than a lot of other places by a lot. We don't have to worry about our kids; we know they're safer here than anywhere else,so why the sour attitude? I understand you're 40. Grow up.

"Dearie"... I DID MOVE!!!! You say there is no crime. Come on...take a look at your Hilliard paper and tell me there is no crime. Drive through some of the older neighborhoods like Beacon or Avery and tell me how well maintained they are. You think your kids are safe because they live in "Hilliard". Give me a break. I don't have a sour attitude, it's just sad that the city has changed so much but you wouldn't know that seeing as you probably just moved there two years ago. Have a good day.

ok did you know in hilliard station last year was ranked number 1 out of 16 schools of best OAT scores,which they got a 93 percent on math in the whole intier school,and has had a 89 percent or higher in the past 8 years

This video only depicts Old Hilliard and Main street, They regret to mention how many corporations moved in.

The school district is struggling to keep the arts in the schools, and once a few key older teachers leave they will probably vanish. Section 8 housing and sharing the schools with Columbus, the "win win" program where they get to come here and we get nothing but overcrowding schools is still effecting us.

Just so you know...most of Main street and residents of Old Hilliard and the new Hilliard don't go to Columbus Public. They go to Hilliard City Schools. Columbus Public is trashy, the HCSD isn't.
