Calves and traps are two muscle groups that can be safely overloaded and respond to heavy weight. In other words I would sacrifice form and ROM to handle more weight in these movements...that is if your looking for uncommon strength and your not just a pump and burn addict.

i have been working out for a year and i do about 140kg traps...20reps...max out at 180 doing one
but i need advice/help, i cant seem to hold the barbell properly, i just ends up on my fingers, and i get severe pain in my figners the next day, im fine with dumbbells, but the weights only go up to 60kg at my gym and therefore to light..any help?
have u tried lifting straps. they even have lifting straps with a hook that can support up to 700lbs. like that the weight will stay in the palm of your hand and it wont end up at your fingers

sorry wasn't paying attention.. Alot of your veins and arteries do that. Normal Variant. Also it would be bilateral if steroids were the reason. Doesn't take an english teacher to figure that out. However steroids may have made the muscle bigger with in turn made the cephalic vein pop out more.

i prefer better form all the way up and hold at the top trains your muscles just as well than the half reps but allows you to use lighter weight

Calves and traps are two muscle groups that can be safely overloaded and respond to heavy weight. In other words I would sacrifice form and ROM to handle more weight in these movements...that is if your looking for uncommon strength and your not just a pump and burn addict.

Oh look, he's shirtless again ! Dude, do your muscles a favor and keep em warm. You'll recover faster between sets. And don't listen to the strap and hook comments. Hand strength counts too. If you ever compete in powerlifting they don't let you strap up, so a powerlifter shouldn't train that way either. (unless it's a two or three rep set.) Keep up the good work man.

Looks like the one side has a nice stack of plates. Can't see the size for sure but even if they are 35lb plates he is over 425 counting the bar.
Also, he is much larger than I am and I do endurance rep sets (15 reps) with 315 so I believe he is around 500lbs there.

im 15, ive been blessed with good traps
i have been working out for a year and i do about 140kg traps...20reps...max out at 180 doing one
but i need advice/help, i cant seem to hold the barbell properly, i just ends up on my fingers, and i get severe pain in my figners the next day, im fine with dumbbells, but the weights only go up to 60kg at my gym and therefore to light..any help?

have u tried lifting straps. they even have lifting straps with a hook that can support up to 700lbs. like that the weight will stay in the palm of your hand and it wont end up at your fingers
