  • Actually the stain never affect the endothelium. The main idea of the air bubble is to localize the stain and maintane visualization during the process. It depends of the level of experience.

  • It is better to use the stain under an air bubble to avoid staining of endothelium.

  • Don't you mean Tryptan Blue? Methylene Blue is toxic to endothelium.

  • Sure, Trypan not methylene, Sorry. We use a commetially available Trypan blue called "vision blue". Thank you for the correction.
