  • He was going to turn but then he took an arrow to the knee

  • Glad you're okay man.

  • he died but then he got better :D

  • Glad to hear u r still alive. That was a wicked bad crash.

  • Crash at 0:45, i like how theres a ton of other skid marks in the same direction as you went

  • hahaha pvtdangles is such a fag go rub your wallaby off into your mouth

  • I'm sure it was reassuring to have the guy in the background "This guy's dying."

  • @N756TA LOL.

  • Glad to see you make it and the worst thing to hear anyone say about you is... "This guy is dieing"...! So when are you going back?

  • Ahh, that ditch on the outside of Engineer's corner has seen more than it's fair share of bikes and cars in it. Hopefully you healed up well.

  • You can see foliage when you're rolling around and any type of vegetation looked pretty far away before you went off. Really glad you're alive that looked horrible.

  • i went sledding on pikes peak when i was a little kid...that place is insane!

  • was he driving a big rig???

  • look at all the skid marks going in the same direction you went

  • are u the guy in this if not did this guy die?

  • damn that was a very unique view of that crash now ill never look at the crashes the same again i wanna say thanks for puttin up this vid but sorry it ended in a crash hope all is good now man

  • Wow, that is definately blowin a corner, ouch ouch biff bang boom, is he dead yet? I bet you keep thinkin I should have low sided it attempting to follow the road. I ran off the road in a similar fashion a couple of weeks ago, snow cinders got me. I had to straighten up and scrub off as much speed as possible then ride the ditch, I was able to keep it from fallin though. I've had race car rheumatism a few times, ribs are such a pain in the laugh ;O) At least you get pain meds, glad you made it

  • "this guy is diein" ..... how encouraging...

  • The mountain, she is a fickle beast...especially if you can't turn left

  • thats hardcore

  • Looks like someone did the same mistake earlier, if you look at the corner's asphalt

  • Who the fuck rides a biek and records in the same time.

  • From what i could see of the road from the camera angle i wouldve throttled on when he did, the corner just doesn't look like it was gonna carry on round. always practice any track before putting the throttle down

  • by the skidmarks on the road its obvious hes not the only one to be supprised by that corner.

  • Sorry about your injuries....Thanks for post though. It is a good lesson for other riders NOT to focus on a "danger area", but to focus and look where you WANT to go.

  • i sure hope this didnt conclude your racing days ):

  • surprise turn >_>

    glad your alright

  • so glad your ok.. WOW.. MY GOD... looks like it hurt

  • brutal m8.. fk me!.. as a rider m8 i appreciate it, more so that the other tools that look here apparently.. "don't touch him.. WE NEED MEDICAL!!" brutal.. glad u were OK tho man.. that's the main thing.. i tell u tho, u got some 'stones' just going up that mad ass road! well, 1/2 way anyway ;)

  • dude were you ok?, i mean i realise you may have sustained injuries at the time but are you ok now

  • Oooooh damn that's gotta tickle (sarcasm)

  • hey please dont do that again, glad ur still there.

  • I see tire tracks going over the same edge you went over.

  • from the other vid i watched it seemed like you hit, trees? i had a pretty gnarly crash on my banshee once and i was so scared when i woke up. This was way worse. i am so glad you are alive and well!!! Thank God.

  • lol

  • I love watching crashes, but dont like people getting badly hurt or dieing. Happy to see your okay.

  • The guy filming on the left side of the road, just before the turn, seems to know that it can always have crash over there. Another good reason why i'll never, ever drive a motorcycle.Don't reply to tell me that biking is wonderful, i heard all your good reasons why it's so fun.

  • You are never going to believe this:

2008-You crashed at Engineer's Corner and took the top off of a Aspen

2009-Andreas Eriksson crashes at Engineer's Corner and takes the top off of the exact same Aspen tree.

Dear Lord, Engineer's is a pain!

  • as you see the tarmac go off to the left, you attempt to slow down and that.........all i can imagine is having a serious thought of "AAWWWWW FUCK!" for about a quater of a second......glad your OK.....hero in my book!

  • Good to see you pulled through.

  • I was just watching some other Pikes Peak vids. Is this you at 1:08???

Search for: Pike's Peak International Hill Climb - Crashes and Highlights!

  • @Lttlcheeze That looks to be the same corner only I think that's a KTM with a 21" front wheel, i was on an Aprilia with 17's...I have yet to see any footage of the crash from that angle.

  • @scaryfast77 i dont think its the same either! it seems different if you watch them right after eeach other

  • might of been an idea to learn the track before hand

  • @pvtdangles Judging by your videos your one to talk....go back to playing with your wallaby and leave the grown ups alone!

  • @pvtdangles dumb. you don't think these guy do that? this is one of the most dangerous race tracks in the world. even f1 drivers blow corners.

  • anyone that can take on pikes peak at some high speeds is one of the bravest people i know!! im totally gonna do that one day!

  • 10 skydivers (and half of us have fast bikes too) just watched your video while we wait for the next load to go up, all saying "that dude is frikkin badass!!".. Takes giant balls to get a bunch of helmet-cam wearing nuts like us saying you are crazy! Glad you made it! And wear a chute next time!

  • Sorry, if im a bit dumb. But what was at the side of the road that gave you so many injuries? It didnt seem that bad at first.

  • @bentleyv8t , because it's on a mountain the ground falls away after the curve, the only thing there to stop you from continuing to fly are trees. I bounced of the top of an Aspen tree, broke the top off and fell to the ground.

  • @scaryfast77 damn, youre lucky to still be alive.

  • 0:45 Just before the crash, the skid marks on the road, looks like you arn't the only one to make a mistake on that corner.

  • yeah shit happens, hear where i live theres hardly nay straight part of the roads, and accidents have to happen

  • dude. we salute you. good onya for giving it a red hot go!

  • looks like a couple of other people skidded off there too from the tire marks.

  • Damn!! That curve is deceiving altogether. The curve seems to end when it actually sharpens more! U Lucky one bro!! It also looks like a road junction to the adjacent left, but it is the same road curves sharply!!

  • @tantragna thats engineers corner if im not mistaken and thats not a corner to mess around with

  • Hey on the up side next time you take on the peak you know that corners there just the other hundred and sixty odd to look out for. You don't realise how hard it is not to gun it on a fast course on a bike these people calling u on it have probably never even sat on one don't bother responding to them guaranteed u have more fun.

  • a lesson in target fixation? the whole time coming up to the turn you are staring straight off the end... I'm sure we have all fallen victim to it at some point. Anyway, you're alive and well, so what shape was the bike in?

  • Thanks for sharing the video. I am now slowing down thanks to you!!

  • that idiot saying that you were dieing shouldnt have been saying shit like that!! Mind you wasnt a paramedic so wouldnt have known any better.

  • Damn Bryan didn't know you ate it that bad, Glad you made it out of there!

  • this guy is dyin... thats what you wana hear

  • hey Sum0nelese, do you even ride a bike ya fuck?

  • were you riding orange ktm ?

  • Damn bro, how fast were you going?

  • ma dove stava guardando??

  • if you look at 0:47 there is some more tracks there... how many runs off here?

  • Damn dude. that curve came out of no where. Hope your ok.

  • @VollgasHero *you're

  • AHAHAHAH che cazzo di traiettoria..

  • is RACING, shit will happen. everybody that ride bikes knows, that at one point or another you will hit the ground. but only SOME have the BALLS and COURAGE to get up and ride some more. long life to YOU man.

  • You have absolutely no idea what your taking about do you?? I wasn't distracted...if you have ever been on this mountain many parts of it look similar.

  • your a idiot... enough said

  • You're an idiot... enough said. :D

  • @turr520 get fucked cunt

  • You my friend are a d-bag.....before you mouth off you should know who and what your talking about.

  • @ksa5223 get fucked u have know idear what u are talking about

  • When somebody crashes you want to say "this guy is dying" that helps the person who crashed fight harder to survive. It's actually a brilliant thing to say "this guy is dying."

  • no way, that would make you feel like oh shit I am actually dying and give up easily because you would think I might actually be dying

  • the marshal is an idiot. someone needs to kick his ass for saying that.

  • WE NEED MEDICAL THIS GUYS DYING!!!!

  • Damn man, thats intense.... Thanks for sharing... Very glad you are okay.

  • DONT MOVE!

  • You are the man!

  • Nice to hear you being interviewed on the radio this year...hope you can race next year and .... um, turn left at this corner, will ya! :)

  • the nasty thing is, you followed somebody elses rubber tracks down the hill who went down there earlier

  • they say when we're injured, the hearing is the last thing to go, so we do likely hear a lot more than they people yelling realize...

  • That marshal needs a slap. "this guy's dyin', this guys dyin' " that's what you really want to hear when you've just dived headfirst down a rocky bank and are lying in pain on the floor.....

  • sorry about the crash,

i really think it was unprofessional of them to scream, medical and say this guy's dieing

but i guess u may not have even heard

bikes scare the shit outta me

  • fuck, thats intense

  • Did you misjudge the turn, or was this a case of Target Fixation, where your eyes fixated on the skid marks left by a previous mishap, and you drove where your eyes were fixated?

  • OK dont move!

  • Too bad the only view was the helmet cam.

  • to chris 305:aparently you don't know shit ur name is 305-I don't think anybody has ever seen a fucking mountain in miami. Also you seem very smart- after seeing if you had any bike videos on your profile- which you didn't- all there was was a video on how to put a battery psp video game system!!! gongratufuckinglations now you can play your dirt biking video game for longer!

  • yea i think your breaking point was just a bit too late. it was after a big fast section.

  • fuck man, that sucks ass. glad youre ok.

  • Comment removed

  • shut up dumbass, you get in a life threatening situation like that and then give fucking advice.

  • damn it looked like you forgot the corner was there! lol

well its great that your alive and hopefully still ridin bro..

and im guessin ur pretty guud since you were in the lead most of the vid

  • Really....WOW, thanks for the insight. You must know your way around a motorcycle giving GREAT advice like that!

  • Comment removed

  • "This guy's dying" and you're like.."Um...no...not just yet..."

  • dude that was awsum except the crash glad ur ok

  • Wow, glad you're alright man!

  • What Camera did you use because it's good sound quality and very good video quality .

    sorry about the crash!!

    Hope you're much better allready..

  • I use the Hero Gopro Camera....it works very well once set up.

  • holy shit that guy saying your dying must of freaked you out! good to see you alive

  • @uselessarab yeah what a douche thing for him to say

  • I was sitting at my kitchen table...........a safe place to race!! And I stumbled upon your vid. My head was tilting left to right, and my guts were winding up tighter and tighter as throttle was needed. My ankles were twisting inward to my barstool when I needed brakes. I was full on and hammering it when .........all the sudden..........the road escaped me underneath. It took a mighty hard left while I was still haulin the mail, looking for a corner that was out there a bit. YOU LIVED IT. THKS

  • Hah, wow man you really burned over cooked that one!

  • Tough ride. Glad you survived.

  • I'm glad you are ok. Hillclimb is so much more dangerous for motorcycles due to the lack of a navigator. It's too easy to underestimate these tight turns.

  • ouch I say ols it's old

    =D

  • can boast of being able to fly for a few seconds, but the fall was brutal

sorry if my englsh is bad but I'm from spain and I'm 13 year ols!!!

  • damn sure glad you are alive. that looked real scary. how fast do you think you were going when you wrecked?

  • It's hard to say, maybe around 45-50ish.

  • ouch

  • could you hear them saying that you were dying? or were you KOed at that point?

  • I was out when he was yelling, I woke up with like 4 guys over the top of me.

  • Looks like a car ran of the track in the exact same place...haha

  • riding over your ability? psh...people are crazy. After so many years of riding how many bones did you break before this? hmmm none. Love you bro! Don't ever scare me like that again.

  • Love you too, I'm good on the bad wrecks for another 30 years!!

  • Holy shit!!!! are you completely ok now?

  • I'm pretty much back to normal now, I've been on a dirt bike once back in October and quite a bit of time on my streetbike. I'll be back racing again in 2009.

    Thanks,

    Bryan

  • Thanks to informing me, and good luck for your new starting. I'm sure that you'll come back to racing stonger than ever. Good luck again from Italy.

  • Nice to hear you are getting better.

    Good luck and best wishes

  • good luck on your starting

  • get well i live in colorado and thats a dangerous mountain and ya you were hauling ass !!!!!!!!!!

  • Kudos for an awesome display! Kidding, I sent you a message, though. Good luck with recovery.

  • for some strange reason... I don't want to move...

  • I'm SO glad to hear you're okay to post about it after seeing that crash - you're very lucky, and I'll hoist a beer for you (the next time I'm drinking at home or someone else is driving!)... as well as RN I'm also an EMT-P, and have been on plenty of helo rides where guys did NOT make it after bike crashes... stay safe, my friend! TF

  • Hope you were out of it, when that guy is yelling "THIS GUYS DYING"

Just what you want to hear I am sure.

    5 stars.

  • holy shit! get better man i was up at bottomless pit i filmed the evo crashing

  • It definetly was a tricky corner,

I think those brake marks might be from the quad that whent off right in front of me...he was ok...barely missed him when he came back on the road.... #604 Quad 450.

  • Bryan, Get well soon. I don't think people realize how fast you were riding. You were hauling ass all three days of practice. Hope to see you next year.

J McKay rider 233 (on the second row with you)

  • Thanks a bunch.....didn't you go down in a fast left hand corner a little bit before me? By the looks of it you got back up and finished!!

  • Hey scaryfast, there was a corner there- you're supposed to go around them.....

    Get well soon.

  • Bryan, that's so hard to listen to! You're crazy, hope you're healing up is going well. You need to call grandma! haha

  • I'm healing up good....I talked to Grandma Saturday evening!!! ;)

  • yeah you must totally suck on a bike!!

    What a poser!

Anybody who knows you, knows that aint even close to the truth, sometimes crazy things happen. Hope you heal up soon man that was insane. Brianut(rmec)

  • Thanks Brian...I'll be back in no time!!

  • Sorry but you looked like you were riding over your ability from the start. heal fast!

  • I want to thank you for your insight on my riding ability, I never knew I was riding over my ability for the last 25 years!!

  • well....i would guess either you have completly not idea on how to ride,or no idea what its like to race...i do on both parts but one i dont and i respect highly to those that do is entrants of pikes peak hillclimb, maybe you should wake up dreamer!!

also good on you "scaryfast77" wat type of bike do you use in racing?

  • It definetly was a tricky corner, there are some brake marks on the pavememnt, probably someone else got off before.

Good you are alive and best luck on your recovery.

  • Damn, Bryan!!! Glad to hear you up and around. What's the plan for next year?

    Stan.

  • Hey Stan....I'm not sure what I'm doing next year. I'm definately planning on doing more supermoto, we'll have to see when it comes to the Peak!!

  • man, im just glad ur Alive~

    insane video!!

  • Holy crap! Glad to hear you're going to heal up fine. Thats a set of tricky corners, as two of them look near identical on the entry, but the exits are so very different! I was driving the Time Attack AWD #9 and couldn't get over how different the road was on race day vs. the practice days.

  • In all the 11 times I had ran that bottom section in practice I didn't once have a problem with that corner. I don't know what, if anything I was thinking coming up to it. Either I wasn't or I mistook it for another corner....oh well!!

  • Just looks to me like the brakes didn't work very well, but I can't say I know much about how fast/slow bikes can slow down. I certainly noticed how much dustier it was on Sunday, and we ended up locking up the brakes pretty good in a couple of spots.

  • Bryan, glad to see your still with us bro, that made me pucker big time!

  • Thanks...it definately has a pucker factor to it for sure!!

  • dude i saw your crash from practily my back yard i live in woodland park so i get a great view of pikes peak

  • that was a sick crash...better luck next time.

  • wow bro, thank god your still with us, the big man was holdin ya...loosely :P

  • I'm glad you're doing good! I wish you a speedy full recovery.

  • I'm doing good....should be all healed up in 4-6 weeks!!

  • Dood! Hope your doing ok! That looked nasty!

Looked like some car skid marks there as well.
