Compare the czech version with the russian one is more or less as compare the ballet Bolshoi with the Kirov. The second emphasizes the technical details, flawless execution, and from that creates the spectacle and fantasy of the narrative. While the former is more concerned with emotional commitment, with technique and execution being only means to reach the summit poetic of the narrative.
I particulary prefer the czech version, but the russian one it's also worthy of great consideration.
@Lydia1712 there should be a little "cc" box along the bottom of the player where the volume etc is, next to where you can change the screen size - click that & you turn on the subtitles :-)
