My Gracie is a 7 year old rescue I've had just 4 months. I was able to take her out to a property nearby to try her hand out at sheep herding and she's a natural. We've been twice so far and plan on continuing. I hope that I can learn how to work with her because she is just in here element !
Our border collie, Cap, can't herd any more. After 9/11 we had to move twice. Now he flushes geese off the golf course sometimes. Is incredibly smart - to see him run is one of the move beautiful things I have ever seen.
I have watched all of your videos at least three or four times and with each time, I become deeply humbled as I watch your beautiful dogs do what they were born to do. You have a tremendous gift and calling that inspires me to one day own one of these gorgeous creatures. Please keep up this amazing work!
This beautiful video fills my broken heart. Two weeks ago my beautiful 12 1/2 yr old border collie Scout passed away.He was an H Jim Shearer border, his sire and ancestors from UK.I watch your video and feel like I can see Scout at the Rainbow Bridge.Dot is beautiful, and majestic. The music is beautiful.Thank you so much.
Hi Kat, Thank you for your comment and for subscribing. So sorry to hear about your loss. We know what it is like to loose a good freind. It hurts - badly.
We are so glad that Dots video has brought you some joy. The whole thing was very spontaneous and perhaps our attempt to hold on to something that was passing in her. She's not getting any younger!
Our thoughts and best wishes are with you.
Remember - a good dog lives on in the heart of its handler.
Thanks for that. We are pleased that people like our dogs and our videos.
We are lucky - we can watch the original (dog - not video). Don't think we can do another like this. It's special to us and is really a 'one off'. Special dog, special music.
Tears of awe & joy from another Boarder Collie fan. My Jill has done hearding but became a service dog as well (unusual for the breed) - teaching herself how to help her "pack". She looks nearly identical.
Hi debswildhoney, great to hear from another BC fan. Jill sounds multi talented. The term 'service dog' is fairly new to us - in the UK we have dogs that help people who have problems or disabilities and I guesss this is the same or similar. What does Jill do?
Dot is a descendant of the 'templeton' bloodline. It is quite possible that Jill also has that blood in her veins - hence the similarity. Dot sends her love to a distant cousin - related in spirit if not flesh!
Wonderful Mike! I love it! Your countryside reminds me of some that I have near where I live. I'd like to say "Hello" to Dot... she's quite video savvy! Keep 'em comin' and keep sharing that beautiful countryside and those cool animals. 8-)
I had read the video description and I am honored! That's some sweet music playing, too! Don't tell Dot, but the last growl on my "Crocs" video was a Lion and not a Crocodile! 8-)
She said she thought it was a Border Collie with stomach ache - we won't tell her the truth, although with the current scandals in the UK based around TV channels fooling the public in various ways, nothing would surprise her!
Lovely video and such a wonderful dog! You can see she really enjoys herding the sheep and that Dot's age has not stopped her from doing what she loves the most. Beautiful scenery!
Yes it is lovely here. Dot gets a bit grumpy if we take other dogs to the sheep and leave her behind. I suspect that the only thing that will stop her from working is the grim reaper! Hopefully not for a long time yet.
We live in hope that she will volunteer to retire and give Gael a chance to take over but until then we cannot deny her the work she loves. Like the Queen, she shows no sign of stopping and letting her Heir take over. She sends her love and thanks for your comment!
three dislikes...hmm...I never knew Sheep could vote! :)

Julie and Candice - So sorry we have not replied to your kind comment for A MONTH.
It always seems to be so busy here and so much gets done late - if at all!
Very glad you enjoyed the video.
Will try and produce some similarly inspired ones in the future.
Your right - 'sigh' sums it up.
Thaaks for subscribing and watching our stuff. Dot sends her love. Woof Woof

Thanks Scott - this one was for you - although you would have to read to the bottom of the rather long video description to find that out!
Dot says "Hello" back and would like to thank you for the 'Soundscape for Crocs' video soundtrack.
She finds the growls and roars at the begining and end quite fascinating. We have had to record a copy of it especially for her.
