Theres hardly any videos/trailers out there about the original MG and MG2 since that was before games were promoted heavily in other kinds of media...plus there wouldn't be hardly anything in them to keep your attention for 10 min.
@TheCarol31 I'd say if you played either of those 2 games, you would know....theres plenty in those games that would keep your attention for an hour at least. Some very innovative stuff. Norse code? Yeah..

alright! i dont get shit about the metal gear solid story. i havent played any of these games and i thought this video would deliver some answers.... but WTF!? it starts with metal gear 3 and ends somewhere else. there's no one explaining the story only weird cutscenes and people talking shit.
thats probably because metal gear solid's storyline starts chronologically in number 3. this video actually does quite a good job explaining, you just have to pay attention.

The snake in 3 is not the same snake as in 1,2, and 4. In 3 its Naked Snake aka Big Boss. Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss, the greatest soldier of the 20th century. 3 tells the story of Big Boss before he became the bad guy...I guess kinda like the prequels and Darth Vader.

2nd - Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops - It happened in 1970
3rd - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - It happened in 1974
4th - Metal Gear - It happened in 1995
5th - Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake/Snake's revenge - It happened in 1999
6th - Metal Gear Solid/The Twin Snakes - It happened in 2005
7th - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - It happened in 2007/2009
8th - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - It happened in 2014
