Are you kidding? The military doesn't want to have to pay for the shit they promised soldiers while recruiting them. It's all a sham...a big fucking racket. When non-military folks ask me about whether or not they should enlist, i always tell them that they do so at their own risk. It's not what it's cracked up to be.

well i now owe the university of houston 8 thousand dollars because they only paid for half of what they were supposed to pay for last semester and now i cant go to school but the school still charged me for living in the dorm and there meal plan amazing

Well, they all got out and got jobs with the VA. Im being serious. Same shaming shit bags that lost your leavepaperwork, your pay issues, your bah paperwork, clothing rocords, certificates, everything. These people are useless.

I speak to them every friday,,,spoke to them last thusday,,,keep dialing and you get through within a few minutes and yes have another ten minute wait,,,,I cant stand the va but this is a moot point having to wait for a phone call,,,I have waited 5 years for benefits just to be turned down

After putting in a claim 8 months ago I had been trying to get a response in writing. In doing so I called that number 6 times a day for 15 weeks straight. When I went online, in a chat dialogue they said "your claim has been denied".

When I asked for a denial in writing, for appeal purposes, the chat stopped. I continue to call that number 3 times a day from 5 am PST till 4pm PST and get the same. "All lines are busy" Classic VA.

Shocking.... NOT! None of my veteran friends have gotten their GI Bill and BAH in a timely fashion. It's ludicrous.
