SM's are everywhere on my server. As a Gladiator I can't even touch them. It's like "Oh massive fear chain, DOT's, then you're dead!"

Last I checked that SMs were the least popular and Cleric was the second least popular.

Chanter is actually a very common class because, sadly, all the bots are chanters and gladiators. But it might have changed between the time I posted that and the time you've come here and posted.

I've been playing aion for about a week non stop and i went with spirit master i'm at lvl 26. I love being able to fuck people up in duels, debuff the shit out of them and lay 3 nice dots then they can kiss their ass good bye.

so looking forward to this, we were never pwned in the abyss b4, but we had several less dps spells than other classes cos we had spirit buffs instead.

Thank god! SMs are at a GREAT disadvantage in the abyss without their pets. We have too many DoTs and not enough direct damage spells to handle ourselves in the abyss. Even without my pet I can still hold my own in a fight. But with my pet alongside me, it beats wasting a shit load of mana and I'll be able to defeat someone more quickly. =)

Also no point to use skills like Spirit Armor of Light (DP buff) if you need to fly constantly to another island or at pursuing an enemy cause the spirit got canceled and you wasted your DP.
