im 14 , i grew up a very petite girl and ate anythin i wanted without gaining weight. by the time i got to 7th grade puberty hit , i started getting taller and heavier . im 5'6 and 150 lbs. but the ting is i dont look fat at all im just heavier and a litle thicker in the tummy and thighs. that resulted in having HORRIBLE strecth marks . im only 14 ? they get worse and worse on my thighs, and just last week i found some on my lovehandles. this is crazy i dont wat this for the rest of my life :(
@stephisagee i got it around that time too. i got it like at 15 or 16. i didn't know what they were and it was a little red at the time. i asked a dr and he told me it could be from gaining weight too quickly for the skin to adjust. i was only 125lbs at 5'4! i wasn't fat at all and i got it. I have it all over my butt, calfs, hips, & inner thighs. They have became white now. Less visible, but still noticeable. i haven't worn shorts let alone a swimsuit. Very self conscious about showing it.
I wasted so much money on creams & oils and nothing worked because stretch marks are like scars- tissue is dead. The only way to get rid of them is to mechanically abrade them. This is expensive at dermatologist's office but you can do it cheaply at home using medical crystals. All my stretch marks are gone and I feel normal again. Just google search medicalcrystals.
