  • The string parts have different rhythms! It sounds really good. In my opinion closer to Mozart than Sussmayer or any of the others (but that's not surprising (who include Simon Andrews, Franz Beyer, Duncan Druce, Michael Finnissy (to be published this year), Robert Levin, Richard Maunder and HC Robbins Landon. You should contact Stephen Cleobury at Kings College Cambridge, he might be interested in your edition, we were just making a recording w. some of the differences in the above editions!

  • The Druce completion.

  • @ComposerJMA

Hi, thanks for pointing out the Duncan Druce completion in the Novello edition. Could you perhaps send a link with more info? THIS version we performed however includes work by Josef Eybler, and he was the one who Mozart himself wanted to complete it. Unfortunately, Eybler did not finish it, and only those parts that he did not complete were sections we performed by Sussmayer. To my knowledge, I am the only conductor who has made a composite Mozart, Eybler, Sussmayer version.

  • I would start with the organ. I play trombone, so I notice the trombone is not playing parts that I have played.

    Sounds great.

  • @Arfat Sorry, but we only had one camera for this concert.
