  • your nowhere near balance point

  • @sammyg224 are you serious? balance point doesn't mean 12 o clock wheelies. his almost right on balance point.

  • is that a joke

    ?

  • i have a gsxr 1000 complete balance point is damn near 11 oclock trust me stand ups n 2nd gear wit your left foot on da rear passenger peg u will find your balance point a whole lot quicker

  • I'm assuming it'd be the same for a 600. I was wondering about that because when I do a sit-down wheelie I'm like, I'm nowhere near the balance point because I really have to stay on the throttle to keep it up. 11 'o clock sounds right... and scary lol. I know I got it close to that in 1st one time and I hit the rear brake... wasn't ready for it lol. When I find a new place to practice I'll try stand-ups.

  • stand ups are much easier to control and you'll find sit down wheelies will just get easier aswell .

  • Great Job. Cheers.

  • Shift it and dump that shit pussy!!!

  • im gonna give me honest opinion, this isnt even close to balance point, your chasing them hard as shit..work on finding balance point on stand up wheelies opposed to sit downs...and fyi..its gonna b harder for u since u have a 1000, to much power and weighs more so it wil b harder in first gr.

  • 4* nice one m8 !!!!

  • once you get to the balance point you'll look back at this video and say "man I was no where near the balance point"

  • stagger standing with left foot on passenger peg right foot covering brake...will make it much more easy/controlled to learn/ride bp wheelies...but it's been a year since posting so you either have it down by now or you've went for a ride...

  • no where near balance point

  • not close to balance point. but keep working on it. do stand up wheelies. siting ones dont look good and you have less control.

  • What is all this nonsense? Balance point? Come on, get it up, work the throttle, rear brake and clutch. If you want to run one gear, you have to use the backside balance point, drop it back, brake a little, comes forward forward, gas it back and repeat. DUH!

  • btw if you give it a little gas on the way down instead of just dropping the throttle it will help that hard drop a lot.

  • im not worried about your clutch as much as im worried about you blowing a fork seal. you are setting the bike down kinda hard. everyone does it when they are learning so don't take offense just keep a good eye on your maintenance.

  • He is correct. I will do minimal damage is done correctly, and he isnt DUMPIN the clutch. Maybe you ears need a good cleaning.

  • I have learned power wheelies. I can ride out a gear via power OR clutching it up. My goal is not to ride out a gear but find the balance point where you no longer need to accelerate to keep it up. I can't tell by your video but I think you are chasing the gear out til the end and NOT at balance point. If you have FINESSE with your clutch you'll do minimum damage if any and little wear and tear. Go to any forum and you'll get more opinions...

  • It has the same effect as dumping the clutch in a fast car to do a burnout out or to launch in a race. I was just letting you know it makes it whole lot easier to learn clutching if you learn power first.Especially with a strong bike. That's where the balance point comes from is throttle control. Obviously you didnt watch my vid if you dont think I know what Im talking about. If you think Im so stupid ask your dealer about suzuki clutches and how quick they will start slipping.

  • how will the clutch get smoked? You really have no idea what you're talking about

  • you wont say inefficient when your clutch is smoked from doing all those short wheelies
