have you had any troubles with the electronics or carbs? i heard that the fzr250's are prone to electrics and carb problems... planning to get one as a first =]
No, i haven't had any troubles yet. the carb was overhauled and the battery was replaced before delivery. ignition, fuel pump, EX-UP system all electrics good !
yeah mine is noising too, but the rest of stops when i pull the klutch.. maybe u should check the drive chain in the engine, that could be make some noise, and after that make big problems.. ;) watch my little fzr! :)
I have watched your FZR and I'm surprised you ride on the motorcycle in snow condition. Please be careful, I don't want to see injured arm and leg any more...:)
hi guys, a few years back i had a 3ln aswell, lovely bike until my mate was riding it, i stopped for him, couldnt get the thing to run properly and was making a hell of a noise. anyway, after some fault finding it turned out that one of the big end shells had fucked, nackering both crank and conrod. apparently theres some common problem to do with the oil getting to the crank as it should. have a look at yours soon if its making noise

Looks really nice. I have a 3LN5, not in quite as good condition as yours. Lately i've been getting worried about the engine noise but it still goes really well and yours sounds just the same, they have quite a loud rattle from down in the crank case huh? The Honda's are so much quieter. I have to agree with you about the colour, very nice.
Nice bike in the best colours :) prefer it to my black one!

I have the same bike and it's my first bike. Can I ask your kl/l ( fuel economy ) coz I'm getting only 13 -14 Kl/L .

@rubenjrsantos The fuel economy of my FZR is 25~28km/L on the highway cruizing.But it is concerned by acceleration.

@lowgonn I owned the 88 2kr FZR, And it was quicker than my mates ZX2R, and also quicker than the CBR 250. its the best 250 4 cylinder.

Nothing wrong with RPM meter.
This RPM meter has no scale under 3000rpm,so unable to indicate the idle rpm.

I think that noise is transmission deteriorated.
because noise stop when the clutch disengaged.
I don't know HONDA's,I'm afraid...
